But occasionally meet friends for a drink after work. Driving through the Hill Country to visit TX wineries/small towns, Sunday Songs at Luckenbach is a good time. Scuba diving is one of the best thing I've ever done. Am thinking of taking that up again. I'd also like to get good at swing dancing. It would be nice to have a partner!I like men (and people in general) who are smart, gentle, at peace with themselves, have a wide range of interests & value meaningful conversation.;ranch background. I am here like most of you (I hope) looking to meet someone that I can connect with. Someone that I have a few things in common with, including a faith in God. A man that is honest, caring, and of good moral character. A little romantic and you might be just right. My friends would say that I am someone special, caring, honest, creative and fun to be around...although, they are my friends, what else would they say. I think I am funny sometimes, but you will have to be the judge of that. I enjoy most music, but these days I lean toward contemporary country. My youngest son just started his third year of college. I also have two older sons that are out and on their own. One of them is married. I stay pretty active, workout several times a week, have participated in ***marathons and some 5k's. The most fun was the Warrior Dash. It was super fun and I hope to do it again. Finally got around to doing a zip line. Had all three of my sons home for the weekend and we went. That too, was a lot of fun. Have to work on my landings...so, I need to go again!! :***of my favorite things to do is caving, but my new favorite is kayaking. On a recent canoe trip, I was able to trade places with my nephew and kayak for a while and it is much more fun! You should try it!

Dating is a start yet I would hope to meet one person where it works out so well we want to be exclusive, I'm naturally a one man woman....My teenage sons live with me and I love them unconditionally, or at least that is my goal. I love going to Zumba class and pilates class and generally keeping fit one way or another. I enjoy cooking in or going out to eat. Going out dancing or staying in and dancing for that matter :). I hope to find someone to share all these wonderful things with. I love the way men are less complex than women, how they can fix things and figure things out step by step without a lot of drama, how they are straight forward and knowing, how they realize women can be complex and unpredictable yet still are enticed and enchanted and strongly attracted to us.I'm optimistic. I usually can see the bright side and put things in perspective before reacting . I want to meet a man who I know I can live without but why on earth would I ever want to? First dates should be a meet and greet they say, however, my inner self would want to jump in a boat and hang out, go to a concert or a show or a city, have an incredible meal or sit on the beach or backyard bonfire. I guess that is second date.
