Well I'm not that good at describing myself cause anything and everything I type in doesnt look right to me but I will try my best.....I am a single dad of 4 wonderful kids! I have been separated and divorced now for over 10 years. I have dated off and on thru those 10 years but nothing really serious. I put alot of my time into my kids. Never really put much effort into this and other dating sites on the internet.....i made profiles but never really tried very hard to get dates. Now that its been 10 years, my kids have grown up and one has graduated college, one is going to be a junior in college and two are in high school and will be a junior and a senior next year. The two in high school are with their mother half the time and with me the other half. So in the past couple of years, I've have experienced what its really like to be an "empty nester" half of the time and I can say that being single and being an empty nester half the time is really really hard......its very lonely to be with no one and to also not have your kids around for half the time in my case. So now I think I'm ready to really seriously look for companionship with someone and then hopefully build that companionship into a relationship with the right person! I realize now that I don't want to be single for the rest of my life and life is short enuff as it is. I think and truly believe everyone deserves to be happy in their lives and I would love to be able to be a part of making someone happy in their life and in return, them making me happy in life as well. My previous relationship lasted 20 years with 14 of those being married.....So I am just looking first for companionship and then hopefully finding the right person to build that companionship into a relationship that will last! Late SeptemberBack in St. Great place, an awesome time, could definitely live here but I'm excited to be back in St. Louis. After being gone from St. Louis for 16 years and being back for eight months it was hard to leave and great to be back. Late June. Summer is here and all is well. It's been about six months since I moved back to St. I came back for a family health situation and while that has been difficult many good things have come with me reuniting with my family. I've reconnected with many old friends, I've been lucky enough to be become very close again with my three siblings.Late SeptemberGlad to be back. Love my job, love the people in my life, my family, and reconnecting with so many old friends and meeting so many new friends. My career has mostly been as a Counselor dealing with troubled youths. I've recently switched careers and although I do miss helping others although I am excited about starting my new career. I'm super positive, the glass is always all the way full and I continue to try to improve my life and also the lives of those around.me. As for me personally, I’m intelligent, motivated, and I’m very secure with who I am and what I want both out of a relationship and life.
