About me, I was raised by the best parents in the world. Every day I try to be like them, adding my own personality. So, I do things my own way, have my own thoughts, I am my own person – definitely independent, analytical, opinionated and sometimes, well lots of times playful and restless. Basketball – mmmm, not so much. I have loved, and lost. (that’s why we are here) No regrets either way. I have participated in and won more than a few Baking/Cooking contests. Friends always come to me when they have a problem. They know I will not just tell them what they want to hear, but will help them realize their own solution. I have a handful of close friends, not just acquaintances. I do not need a man, I want one; to spend the rest of my life with, to enjoy and to love and want one that feels the same…and, definitely not a perfect one. I moved to NC 6 yrs ago but still haven't met the right person so now I'm back in the pond. I've been divorced quite a while and would like to have someone in my life. My 2 sons are grown and now it's time for me to have some fun. Anyway, I work out about 5 times a week and eat very healthy and would like to find someone who shares that lifestyle. I believe in taking things slow and getting to know someone. No instant relationships. Not into playing games or drama. I just turned 54 (Yikes!) but am usually told I don't look my age.
