I am new to the on-line dating scene and I am not entirely sure what will happen. These are great qualities but they are often very difficult to find in others! I don't think the first date should be over the top. Most importantly, the date should give us both an opportunity to get to know each other. Prior to the actual date I would very much like to learn more about the other person by talking directly. Emails and texting are great ways to communicate but not necessarily the best means of truly getting to know another person. Once we have had the opportunity to talk to one another and are both comfortable then I would very much look forward to that first date.Getting together for a drink, cup of coffee or something to eat would be a great way to start. I would pick a low key and quiet place which would give us an opportunity to talk to one another. I can be a little bit shy at first but once I get to know another person I am very social and like making conversation. If the first date goes well then a second date would be great. If myself or the other person is not interested that that is fine as well and I rarely ever regret meeting someone new even if it is just for friendship!
