Where to begin... I have two girls, 17 and 13. They keep me pretty busy although my oldest is now at college so I only have one to keep up with. It was a difficult decision but I felt I really needed a change and I was hoping to further my career. So far, no regrets. I've discovered it's a little harder to meet people and establish a circle of friends as you get older. I grew up in the country, was a bit of a tom boy with a wild streak as a kid. I've learned to tone down the wild streak. lolIt's important to me to stay in shape and I try to get to the gym at least 3 or 4 times a week if I can. Relaxing usually consists of some TV time, a movie, a good book, going to the beach if it's nice out, hanging with friends.Some of my favorite things...going to concerts, sitting around a fire, being with people that make me laugh, adventure, thunderstorms, snuggling, sleeping in, long weekends, beach vacations. Most of my friends don't have the same taste in music as me. My favorite are bands like Three Days Grace, Seether, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down.& newer stuff too. but I like a wide variety and love to hear live music. For the most part I really enjoy my work. It can get intense but I don't "bring it home". There are times I need to talk about it so I hope you're a good listener. Don't worry I won't drone on for hours. I like being around positive, upbeat people - no time or energy for drama and pessimism. I believe for a relationship to be good...it should be built on trust mutual respect and good communication. That being said - nothing beats chemistry - it's just got to be there. Trying to think of things to say about oneself is some what difficult, Not wanting to sound similar to everyone elses profile as to what I want outta life. I want happiness as im sure everyone would like. I want an honest man, one who has values, morals, and integrity. Intelligence is a must, Id like someone who is fun but also works for a living. Ive been used and abused enough and dont care to go down that road again. I am kind hearted and been told so many times too trusting. I am a romantic, I enjoy taking walks hand n hand and kissing when the desire strikes. I like dancing and long drives pretty much what ever life has to offer just more fun doing things with the company of another. Life has a funny way of throwing some wicked curve balls , maybe to keep you on your toes. I can not stand dealing with drama and stress, but it is what it is at that...life. Everybody tells me I'm too young an good hearted to hide-out and let life pass me by. Have been out of the dating scene for way to long and not sure how to get back in the saddle. I've always been a romantic. I don't need someone to shower me with gifts or or put on a big show. A lot of the time just the simplest things done with true meaning are the most treasured. I enjoy spending time with friends and my children. I used to shoot darts on a team, but work and family became more important. My children are getting older and getting lives of their own now and not needing me so much-and not to mention telling me to go out and find someone. I have always put my family first, work , and friends. Anybody who knows me knows that if they ever need anything I will do my best to help them. I've been accused of wearing my heart on my sleeve-not sure what that means( if that means too trusting and cries easily-that's me).I'm not a very big drinker, I enjoy going to movies, dinner, dancing, or just a good cup of coffee and great conversation. I would want it to be something we both enjoy and can hopefully relax. I don't know about you but just the thought of going out on a first date makes me nervous.
