Where to begin... I have two girls, 17 and 13. They keep me pretty busy although my oldest is now at college so I only have one to keep up with. It was a difficult decision but I felt I really needed a change and I was hoping to further my career. So far, no regrets. I've discovered it's a little harder to meet people and establish a circle of friends as you get older. I grew up in the country, was a bit of a tom boy with a wild streak as a kid. I've learned to tone down the wild streak. lolIt's important to me to stay in shape and I try to get to the gym at least 3 or 4 times a week if I can. Relaxing usually consists of some TV time, a movie, a good book, going to the beach if it's nice out, hanging with friends.Some of my favorite things...going to concerts, sitting around a fire, being with people that make me laugh, adventure, thunderstorms, snuggling, sleeping in, long weekends, beach vacations. Most of my friends don't have the same taste in music as me. My favorite are bands like Three Days Grace, Seether, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down.& newer stuff too. but I like a wide variety and love to hear live music. For the most part I really enjoy my work. It can get intense but I don't "bring it home". There are times I need to talk about it so I hope you're a good listener. Don't worry I won't drone on for hours. I like being around positive, upbeat people - no time or energy for drama and pessimism. I believe for a relationship to be good...it should be built on trust mutual respect and good communication. That being said - nothing beats chemistry - it's just got to be there. Yes...the pictures are recent.It's hard to write about yourself...I'm much more interesting in person. lolWhat I'm looking for: A man who conducts himself with integrity and confidence; self-confident but not arrogant, willing to take the initiative but not be controlling, has a great sense of humor ( can tolerate my sarcasm/wit and give it back); is supportive and "has my back" so to speak. Okay so I have tried this before and have chatted with what appear to be nice guys who I seem to have things in common with and then...NOTHING! I am so over nothing, so I have decided to approach this like a guy and just lay it all out. First, here is what I am not looking for. I am not intersted in dating someone who is 10 years older than me, sorry but I just would like to keep it around my age. Besides that, I think am pretty open, LOL. So about me... I hope to move back to that area one day or at least closer to the beach. I have done a few things with my life so far. I have followed my dream and worked in the Music Business, I have a cerificate in Massage and I am now working as a Nurse. I was raised catholic but I do not attend mass. I am not a huge TV watcher but I love Netflix. I am a big Red Sox fan and even though I am not really into it, I can deal with the fact that you may go into a football coma in the fall. I have been told by more than one man that I am an amazing kisser. I love to cook for someone else, I am a bit of a clean freak, but I admit to that up front. I like having someone in my life to care about but I am also cool with the fact that you are going to have boys nites. My favorite place to go is the beach, ANY BEACH ANY TIME!..and I have a free place to stay in Austraila if I can ever get there.I recently started to work out again and I feel great about that. I love animals and kids and even though I think I might be getting to old to have my own, I wouldn't mind being someones stepmom someday, the little ones think I am very cool. I am a good girl that knows when it's okay to be a little bad I can grab a beer and watch a game with your friends or enjoy a bottle of wine and good conversation. I am most comfortable in jeans and a but I clean up pretty good too.I just want to find a nice guy that is going to be honest with me. I don't want to play games, life is to short for that and there is to much fun to be had out there. I would love someone to go to the beach with in the summer and cuddle by the fire in the winter. So I guess that is me in a nutshell, there is lots more to know but I will save that for those who are truly interested.
