When once upon a time I said "' I Do ", I never thought it would be creating a profile on on a dating site!So here's to starting over....I have been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom for the past couple of years & I really enjoy it. I spend a lot of time volunteering at my son's school. We have a dog, 2 cats, a fish tank & 2 hamsters so I obviously like animals. I enjoy working in my yard & interior projects also. Being able to spend time with friends is a necessity & keeps me sane. My family is all local. There are 50 of us on Christmas morning. I never get to sit at the "adult table" but I carry on a fairly intelligent conversation when I am in the mood. I love to ride, but I don't own a bike. Big trucks and fast cars are sexy.My exes (yes I have plural) and I usually remain friends. We were friends to start with, and stay friends even thru the hard times. I've been told I'm independent to a fault.(its an act to hide my insecurities) I seem to fall for "action figures" (police fire Marine Medic) Still looking for a superhero in uniform, knight in cowboy boots, or just someone that the thought of seeing makes me smile each time. Being over seas has made me really appreciate holding hands, I'm a very affectionate person. Sometimes a touch or soft word is all it takes to put a person at ease. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, so it occasionally gets broken. I expect people to be and do what they say when they say it when they don't I get my feelings hurt.(though you may not see it, I hide it pretty well)Have I sparked your interest at all ?
