I don't make this stuff up, there's scientific proof. :))I'm not here to find my Soul Mate. The idea is a romantic but essentially flawed concept. No two spirits dance exclusively to the same drum. Knowledge of our differences can make the commitment twice as sweet, if we can respect the differences that will emerge along the way. An intimate relationship is not destined, it is constructed over time. The search for a soul mate is essentially a search for balance. I'm in search of my Balance. That one get's me a lot of controversial comments!!! ;)The rules of Life, Love & Relationships are simple.... Enjoy life & what it has to offer, Laugh often & loud, Love much & deep, Do the things you want to do, Don't be so serious or set in your ways, Forgive. No direction, goals, aspirations, inspirations or adventure. Know who you are, where you've been, what you want and be optimistic about the future. Couch potatoes or those that know the cable guide inside & out or base their activities around what's on tv, please throw your application away.Spineless. Stand up for what you believe to be right, even if it's with me. Strength is a testament to your character.No compassion. No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care. True statement. Swear!! :)Judgmental. Show me integrity and virtue *** have Respect for woman with Independence, A Voice, Thoughts & Opinions, Intelligence and capable of having a conversation. I never did play the meek & feeble role very well. :))Overly Dominant. Be the protector, Be the Man, Not the Dictator (Need I remind you how Dictator begins?) Needy (Excessive emotional dependency). See Dominance & Smothering above.No sense of humor. Don't take Everything so seriously, be goofy, cheesy, tell horrible jokes and laugh at yourself.No sense of Adventure. Staying at home is great, especially if there is someone to be there with. But now and then my Social Butterfly begs to be let out. Have a fun factor, even if it is at home. Jump through puddles and spontaneously dance in the rain with me. ::the cheesy part of a great relationship::Disrespectful. We're all (hopefully) adults here and no longer (again hopefully) have the pubescent attitudes & actions of the 20 somethings. Certain aspects of the rules have changed. Be Respectful. My teenage son knows the difference, you should too.Are you seriously here to, hopefully find someone that, eventually over time, you can build a relationship with, or just your next sexual conquest? Are you willing to take the time it takes to invest in getting to know someone or simply here to build a raging repertoire of victorious sexual triumphs??Chivalry. A walk on the Beach?! :) Sunday afternoon at the Stockyards playing tourist or grab a beer, a burger & The point is to have fun, relax, enjoy and get to know. Don't make it so serious!!Take a chance, have fun, be spontaneous & open to doing something you want to do but never have. Dinner, drinks, coffee, lunch, patio meet & greet.......that's all great & fine & everyone on their best behavior. But nothing like a little adventure to truly bring out the personalities. I've been divorced for 6 years left this site for awhile and have just came back. Some things about me After being on my own for so long I find it hard to go full speed into dating. I find it is easier to start out as friends first.I feel it is less pressure on everyone involved.if a serious relationship happens then WOW but that isn't my goal for right now. i think people at our age if spent anytime alone has come to realize being alone isn't that bad. We tend to be more stable in our lives. Do not get me wrong we are on this site for a reason. but we are not 20 anymore either. We have more time to choose who we would like to spend some time with. I like the out doors camping,fishing,boating,cookouts.Not into nascar but a dirt track i'm there i was raised on sprints,midgets and stock cars. My 15 year old started racing this year. Doesn't do bad I still get real nervous when he races. I'm not looking for a Mr right just someone who is right for me! I'm a home body don't like the bar scene .I really don't know to many people from this area. My job kept me away all the time so never really met any friends. I like all kinds of music.classic rock,country,oldies. I am going thru a life change . You could say I spent my life taking care of my family . And my family is growing up . So I'm planning the second part of my life. I went to school and took gourmet cooking and catering courses now thete done .I'm starting a catering business and building a food truck. If that works I hope to have a restaurant . a nice dinner, or lunch somewhere. places easy to talk.
