Lazy people are a pet peeve of mine...while a quiet evening watching a movie every now and then is great, if your idea of activity is raising your arm to click the TV remote on a consistent basis, then we wont get along! I love to swing dance and two step but it seems like there are more people who say they can but in reality they cant...so if you KNOW how...then that would be fabulous! I'm pretty picky when it comes to music...I only listen to country and christian...heavy metal and rap makes me nauseous...and I'm not real fond of hip hop bubble gum stuff either. I'm pescatarian (best Google that if you're not sure what it is!) so if you like sushi...I know of some amazing sushi places! I'm known to be somewhat random at times, love adventure, and have a good sense of humor....laughing is the best thing ever.**** OK!! UPDATE**** After being on here a couple of months I feel the need to add a few things...first...I am very dedicated to what I do for a living...and I work A LOT. I do make time for the things I want to do...but even sometimes...the things I want to do have to take a back seat to my career...which is VERY important to me. I say 'I'm only interested in dating and nothing serious' for a reason. That being said...IF someone comes along who knocks my world upside down...I'm not opposed to the idea of a relationship...BUT...for now it's not first and foremost on my mind. Second...IF you're throwing your number my direction or asking for mine within the first half dozen *** and forth...I can PROMISE I wont be interested in meeting up, hooking up or hanging out. Finding out about one another and whether we even have enough in common to be friends is far more important to me that meeting up for a date or having a 'text buddy'....thanks...but I teach high school...I'm not IN high school...just saying.... Third...if you only look at pictures and haven't bothered to read my profile...well then I guess that point is mute and you haven't made it this far so I don't need to suggest you read first....I'll just weed you out with the others that ask redundant questions that are already answered in my profile...another 'just saying'.... Fourth, if you don't have a picture...DONT bother clicking 'I want to meet you'....trust me....we wont...and I wont be contacting you either. Common courtesy...I have photos...you need them also. This may sound super shallow...but physical attraction is a huge deal...let me restate that...HUGE deal. I'm old enough and wise enough to be upfront on this one....be realistic and be aware of yourself enough to know whether that is a possibility or not. Please don't be offended if I do not respond...it simply means that I do not believe that we have enough in common or would have the physical chemistry that I would be looking for.....so continuing to send me *** wont change that. This was my original post two-plus years ago when I signed up: " Looking for a long term - it doesn't have to mean marriage...but I want someone who wants to actually DO boyfriend things! Hang out, go places..... I do not want a friend with benefits.... If it's going to work, I come with two little boys and a big black lab...and I want that person to actually WANT to know about the boys ...not just know about me :) Sexy to me means...more than physical..I want someone who can get attached emotionally, who is smart and motivated, who I can have conversations with or just watch a movie and share some wine. I want to relax and I want to feel warm in that person's arms. Is it asking too much to want to finally feel like a princess? ha ha....well?"So after a few years of dating here and there, meeting interesting people who stayed in my life....and quickly did not...even though some of us never even met..ie. a guy who who owns a PT/Massage therapy business who I never met (you know who you are) but over the short years gave me advice about whatever I needed, and the guy I met once but only once who became the only knowledgeable one to give me the best and most profitable financial advice, etc...I made friends, I made simple "acquaintances" and in one *** short term relationship turned in to what is most likely a life long friendship... I had one real long term ...10 months anyway....my record.. ... and he was not a guy from meetville ...but he was great and wonderful to me and my boys....and I just dont know... We ended it mutually and for personal reasons. I guess I learned that putting in that "I want a long term relationship" thing is harsh but this site doesn't give you detailed options. I think I know what I want in a man.... but ...I know I won't settle because even if my boys really like that guy....(of course i want only the best for my kids!) but when they leave for college years later....it's me and that guy....and I want it to work in a chemical, loving, best-friend, physical/sensual/sexual way. I hope I don't sound selfish....not sure I'm explaining it all but I'll be honest at this point....Relationships...I'm not sure I know what I want in a relationship...I just hope it comes some day and "boom"...I just know it's whatever it should be ........ I learned that I need a companion, a best friend...but one who is also attracted to me in so many more depths ....and can talk about anything....someone who loves me first (so we dont get wrapped up in family life before we know each other one on one, ...next phase...that person wants to love my boys and supports the life I lead and the structured way I can be sometimes so I can be everything to my family ..I'm the mom and the dad, and I work hard ...(freaking 100,***times that I hear..."but it's only 99 Cents!" downloads.....) ...etc I am a person who needs personal space and time alone with my kids.....go out on boys night! Just be happy. I need my time, too. I'm not a jealous person .....if you're trustworthy. I will give 110% and I hope it's reciprocated....unconditionally. So this is my latest attempt at updating my profile. Be true to thyself. Ps. I'm a Taurus ...
