Especially at DTE or Pine Knob if you're from my era :)I find my self still saying Pine Knob on occasions.A gentleman is a must have for me! Simple acts of kindness rank high. I like a man who uses his manners :) There is a time and place for most things ;)Prefer to date a man whose children are older, if you have any. My son will be 16 soon.I work at a hospital. I enjoy my work but would like to further my education. In my profession there are different avenues I can go down with just a few months of schooling. Waiting for my son to graduate high school in a few years to figure it out. I would have to say for a first date I prefer to get dressed up and go out for dinner and drinks. Talk and get to know more about the other person, just see how the chemistry is. I like to get dressed up so I would want to look my best, the second date a little more relaxed is ok :) Even an outdoor activity would be cool.I'm open to all types of food and don't enjoy going out to dinner with a picky eater. Eating should be fun & you need to enjoy it.A walk outside, wheather permitting would be a nice end to a fist date

I have been described in many ways both good and bad - we all know nobody is perfect but everyone has their own opinion of someone. I try not to judge people because I am no better than any of you. Most profiles that I read pretty much say the same thing - they are mostly good qualities about ones self which is understandable - no one wants to describe themself as a ***arrogant *ss. I figure the best way to hopefully meet an honest, loving, loyal man is to find something about him that peaks my interest and then if hes interested - get to know his true self. Let me start by saying I work evenings and weekends so if your a Mon-Fri 9 to 5er it makes it hard to find time together unless it's a mutal effort to make time.... ok done with the "angry women profile" lolI enjoy most sports being a fan or playing myself when I get the time. Everyone puts on "just seeing what's out there", and I was recently told that there are no "good men" left. Well I don't believe that. I am an easy going, very given, compassionate, kind, funny, vivacious, and confient woman who knows the right person is somewhere out in this crazy world. LOL It's easy to say what you don't want but I find sometimes people forget what they do want out of life. I love to dance in the kitchen, smile everyday, spend time with my kids, make my friends and family feel loved and cared, watch a great movie snuggling on the couch or just plain hanging out making each other laugh. I don't have room in my life for drama or jealousy. I am me and I am extremely confident in who I am today. I have had two long term relationships that have made me appreciate the simplier things in life and would not change either for anything. I get along great with my ex-husband, if that tells you anything. :) Life is too complicated already to add unnecessary complications to it. I am very uncomplicated but can adapt to any situation I'm in; wheither it be camping outdoors, going to the theater, talking a bike ride, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people. I love to be on the back of a motorcycle but if you don't have one I won't hold it against you :) I am a firm believer in making time for the one you are with and giving everything into a relationship you should. That being said, if you want to hang out with your friends....go have fun! A great cup of coffee or a drink somewhere. Great conversation is a must!
