If I were a man, the FIRST two weed-out items I'd be looking for on someone else's profile is: "Is she crazy?" and "does she know the difference between your and you're?" Now, maybe you don't care, but I can assure you that the answer to those questions is "NO--I am not crazy" and "YES--I know basic grammar." Ahem, now that we've got that out of the way...Sometimes, I get too excited about little things. I'm extroverted, warm and easygoing (not extremely type A). I make an effort to not be judgmental. My friends make fun of me by mimicking my hackneyed favorite phrase "THAT IS BEAUTIFUL" (in all caps, of course). I'm not too much of an intense person, I'm not too much of a mushy person, but I do think that a lot of things are absolutely beautiful. I've recently been experimenting with making fresh pasta (which is hard! I've also been recently attempting to get into running, which is much harder than making and eating pasta, let me tell you. I have just about the cutest dog in town (Zoey - Corgi-Jack- As a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, I function as a therapist, an *** a researcher. My career is extremely important to me; I'd like to be a professor one day and yes, I do work a lot.

So, while I’m not necessarily looking for anything serious, I’m not looking to just hook-up either. I prefer to let things flow and see what happens. I'm pretty random in my taste in movies and music. I like just about anything and everything or can find something to appreciate, except scary movies I am a chicken sh*twhen it comes to those. I am active with a local horse rescue and usually end up spending a lot of free time there. I work two part time jobs, clean stalls to pay for my riding lessons and, in the summer, I pet sit. For fun I’m usually at the barn, hanging out with friends, reading, or trying to find somewhere new to explore/drive to. I’m a bit of a dork, I can act mature, but I'm also a kid at heart. I know there is a time and place for fun and I was raised with manners. I like to be laughing and having a good time (and no that doesn't just mean drinking) and if you dont like to joke around and enjoy a good laugh we probably aren’t going to hang out a lot. I'm sarcastic and I tease people relentlessly, I appreciate the same in turn, so don’t be shy. I also enjoy a challenge, can never say no and will work at it until I complete it =). Also, I don't like guys that always let me get my way. Argue with me(not serious screaming matches, but have opinions and stand up for them) and dont be someone that let's everyone walk all over them. Also, be respectful. You don't always have to hold doors open for me and things, but if I or any girl says no about anything, respect it. I respect you as long as you dont give me a reason not to or disrespect me. And I'm not a girly girl. I can wear skirts and dresses occasionally but thats rare. I'm more likely to be wearing jeans. As far as what I am looking for… Well lets start with I’m not looking for someone to spoil me or “take care of me”, I enjoy my independence and whoever I date has to be independent as well. I mean there is nothing wrong with a little spoiling or attention now and then, but not all the time. At the same time, I am an affectionate person. I will also tell you, I am the first one to complain someone never texted me back and also the first to admit that I am a hypocrite and sometimes forget to respond to people. I prefer brutal honesty, even if it isn’t something I want to hear, I hate being lied to. You have to like animals, or at least be ok with them. My dog, Kahlua, is my baby and honestly, if she doesn’t like you I probably wont either (don’t worry, she likes just about everyone, especially if you give her a cookie, tell her she’s a pretty girl and scratch her ears) =).
