I'm passionate about my girls (and my dog, too) - they are my inspiration. I enjoy trips to the coast and the mountains - Love to hike, bike, walk and leisurely float down the river on a sunny day. Sunrises, sunsets, waterfalls, oceans and rivers are fascinating - as well as the moon and the stars around a warm campfire. Holidays and get-together’s with family and friends - playing games or pleasant conversation - is always something I look forward to.I love to laugh and smile. I am a fair-weather, solar powered kind of girl. I am happiest on the coast somewhere with my toes in the sand, soaking up the rays, listening to the water caress the shore. I currently work in the medical field and recently finished the RN program; for a long time this took up most of my time. Now that I have my license I can breathe a bit easier and also have time to pursue other interests.I was lucky enough to be able to be a stay at home mom for 20 years and then decided to go to Nursing school. So now the fun begins!! My children are all over the globe so I have no reason not to venture out. In my free time I enjoy checking out new restaurants, exploring new places. I keep busy with my hobbies and traveling. My kids were/are band geeks so I listen/enjoy to most everything.I'm looking for someone that loves to cook, travel and not afraid to try some new things together as well as share the new chapters in the lives of our kids. I am an energetic 47 year old woman that had 3 beautiful kids of my own and am now raising my 3 grandchildren. It is rough doing the parenting again but I am up to the challenge. I enjoy being outdoors, fishing, traunching through the woods looking for deer or Chantrel mushroom's. First dates are always awkward and I have not been on many, but I guess the old stand by would be a nice dinner and a movie. Dinner so you can talk and get to know more about the other person and a movie...... cause movies are always fun to go to.

I am gonna try this again, hopefully with better luck. I am a Christian first and a mother second. My faith is very important to me. My children are my priority. I have a job I enjoy, but I work to live I don't live to work. I run and work out regularly, love to run 5k's hoping to do some 10k's this summer. I enjoy anything outdoors, anything active, all kinds of music from rock, heavy metal, jazz, dance music, even big band. I love a sense of humor I think it is the most important quality in a man. Summer is my favorite time of the year. I would like to find some one who enjoys anything from long walks, movies, to sports-football especially- cuddling by a fire..... or whatever you can come up with. somewhere public but quiet so we can talk and get to know each other. I am a single mom. I work alot of hours, I enjoy all types of rock music, going to concerts, hanging out having laughs with friends and my kids. Laughter and music soothes the soul. Well this is where the hard part comes in, because I always struggle to find the right words to say about me. I don't want to sound cheesy, sappy, to serious or not serious enough. So here it goes; I have been divorced for 6 yrs and I would like to find a man to date and see what happens. If the relationship works then that would be great and if we just end up friends then I am fine with that too. At present I am a graduate student at MSU and will graduate in May with a Masters Degree in Education/Literacy. I am person that loves to do the extra special little things for someone and hope to find someone that likes to do the extra special little things. I feel like when they are done out of the blue and are not done expecting anything in return then they are more special to the person they were done for. I will also go the extra mile for someone and would like to find someone that would do the same in return. I have a wide variety of tastes in things I like to do; they range from going to plays and musicals to going to rodeos. I like going to flea markets and antique shops, I collect old reading textbooks. I always say I am a country girl with a little bit of the city thrown into the mix.
