Hello! I am the proud mother of five children (yes, really!), some of whom have flown the nest. They are the dearest "things" to my heart and give me a reason to get up with a smile on my face every morning!In my "first life" I was a teacher. Just kidding - I am learning to MAKE time for me by being outdoors taking a walk along the TH River, working in the yard, or just hanging out on my screened porch. You are more likely to find me with my iPod playing tunes than with a remote control in my hand.-..I could go on and on. And live music makes my heart go pitter-pat!! I also enjoy dining out (who doesn't?), sipping Chardonnay, camping, and occasionally smoking a good cigar. (Yes, I AM a female. Just in case the cigar part made you worried.)I love to laugh and tend to view even difficult situations with a sense of humor. I will even laugh at myself - in fact, I kind of crack myself up!) sense of humor. I am also a deep thinker and can have a serious side as well.
