I think my closest friends would describe me as fun-loving, smart, and loyal. I have a great sense of humor (sometimes sarcastic) and value spending time with the people I care about. I’m shy and quiet around people I don’t know, but once I get to know you, you’ll have a hard time getting me to stop. I’m brutally honest and tell it how it is, which can sometimes get me in trouble. I’ The commute isn’t fun, but I love my job so it’s worth it. Outside of that I try to run as much as I can with my schedule -- it’s my way to just get outside, listen to some music, and de-stress. I like to read and go to the movies.’m happy. I love going to area wineries and wine festivals, and have even gone to a beerfest or two. I consider myself a good cook and I can bake too. I’m completely uncoordinated and have never been good at sports. I can’t ride a bike but still have hope I’ll meet someone one day who will finally have enough patience to teach me. I am, however, very very competitive at Mini Golf and would love to learn the real game of golf. I wish I would make hiking more of a priority.I’m not much for the hot humid weather, I love winter -- snow tubing, sledding, and making snow angels. I love city life, but would choose the mountains over the beach any day.I’m looking for someone who is as comfortable in a suit as he is in a t-shirt and jeans, someone who’s handy, who likes to go out and also is ok with just chilling at home. He should make me laugh (and find the same things funny).I want a guy to treat me right, keep his promises, and pay more attention to me than to his cell phone when we’re out. He should have a decent job, value the same things I do, and make our relationship a priority. I’m old-fashioned about dating and think a guy should make the first move, open doors, hold my hand, etc. I look forward to making a real connection with someone who I can share my life with. Spending time outside is definitely a priority in life.-hiking/backpacking and paddling!), hiking, biking, sea kayaking, and canoeing. Winters, I'm backcountry skiing most weekends-nothing beats a good powder day in the Chugach! I ski some at Alyeska when backcountry conditions are sketchy, and try and get out skate skiing a couple nights a week after work.-everything from alternative, rap, rock, heavy metal, hip hop, and even a little country. I'm pretty open musically, but definitely have my preferences :)First Friday and First Tap are some of my favorite things to do around town-gotta love art, good music and beer!I love to travel and check out new countries and cultures. I'm planning on putting a new stamp on my passport soon! I've done a fair amount of travel in state-and looking forward to doing a lot more! I try and make the most of my destinations and usually need a vacation from my vacation when I get home :)I'm looking for someone that is looking to get outdoors and enjoy AK. Honesty, communication, and chemistry are pretty crucial. Could be a ski or hike, cup of coffee, or a (good) beer.
