Well where to start...most would say I'm independent, witty and a lot of fun to be around. I love a good sense of humuor and I'm pretty easy going. I exercise regularly and I am always interested in learning new things. I moved to Calgary from the east coast just over a year ago. Right now I am fulfilling a dream and have gone back to school to become a nurse. Something I have wanted to do for a long time and decided it was time to go for it. One thing I don't believe in is regrets. You need to at least try. If it doesn't work it's alright but one has to at least try.I love all kinds of different food and love to cook. I love being outdoors. I walk a lot and in winter I skate and have a pair of snowshoes that I wasn't able to get get out last year and hope to this winter. I plan to learn to ski at some point this winter. I tried it once many years ago and really enjoyed it. When living in the east coast they are not as many opportunities for skiing as there are here in the mountains. One of the reasons I choose Calgary for school was that I found that the people here were active both in winter and summer.

I never really know what to say on the about yourself portion cause it kinda feels like bragging and I suck at that but here it goes. I'm a firm believer that honesty is always the best policy and that lying is not only a betrayal to the other person but to yourself as well and it is a guaranteed bad time to be had by all and I'm just not down with that. I'm a fun loving, free spirited, go with the flow kind of person. I don't judge cause you never know what someone else is going through or has been through and what it felt like for them and everyone deserves to be accepted for who they are. I love to make people laugh and believe it is the best medicine for the soul. Everyone who knows me always says my heart is way too big for my own good and it gets me in trouble but I disagree because I can't control what other people do or who they are only what I do and who I am. Other than that, I'm just the kind of person you gotta get to know, to really know, ya know?

Not this year! - Dogs truly are man’s best friend - Music is better heard live and with friends - 140 characters are never enough, but it’s a start - Interesting conversation and laughs are the biggest turn on...and hand cuffs too! - Sometimes mindless television is just what the body needs - Everyone has time to volunteer with children! - Holding hands is a great way to stay connected - Voting is the best way to bring about change - Every sport can be enjoyable...both playing and watching - Long walks on the beach are better with dogs - People don’t need to know what I had for breakfast or the time of my last 5k - The ability to enrich our lives through reading and travel makes us humanWhat I’m looking for...I enjoy myself, my friends and family, my work, my dog and my life. I’m not looking to complete my life or change anything; I’m just looking for someone to share it with. I’m looking for someone to watch a game at our local pub, walk my dog in the park and all the little things that make life so precious. The usual coffee and a walk are fine. But, I’d love to find someone who’d like to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range, hoist a pint in a pub, go for a walk with my puppy or watch a Highlanders game. I think being an original is a real plus!
