I work in Accounting as well as for a friend's restoration company. I love working with tools and how it feels when you build or fix something with meaning. I almost went back to school to pursue the trades (I have a man crush on most carpenters) but will have to wait for now. I have a year remaining in finishing my degree in Economics and as optimistic as it sounds, through this field, I hope to make a positive difference in the very near future. I love almost all sports and still enjoy playing many of them for fun and good exercise. I played soccer in college/university and I usually play men's league hockey and baseball/softball if I can. I enjoy staying fit and I like girls who do the same. Camping is also one of my favourite things to do, but I don't get a chance to do it nearly enough. I'd love a girl who has no problem sleeping in a tent/cabin for a few days (with some kind of padded mattress, of course!) I'll even carry her gear! I recently started to learn to play the drums, with help from a friend, since I never had a chance to when I was younger. I've also discovered many indie bands but I think I'm far from being a hipster. I'm hoping to begin learning how to speak Spanish, as I'm planning a trip for next summer. I believe I have a great/sarcastic sense of humour and I hope that you do too! Going for coffee or a drink sounds about right. I think some kind of laid back activity would be ideal, however. That way it feels less like a job interview!

I grew up skiing like a maniac and snowmobiling at mach speed (often the only girl ridin' with the boys). We used to build tree forts and run up mountains for fun (seriously!). Today, I have a lazy husky, a gimpy knee and I wheeze up the mountain but I still ski like a midwestern wind and snowmobile with the family.My family is fabulous... and shares my quirky sense of humor. Yuck! (The cargo nets on the fifth course were nearly my undoing. Who knew it was so hard to climb up those things!)The music I listen to mimics my mood... rockin' beats to honky tonk to soft and classic... just no screaming please. Books I read range from action to romance to professional improvement.I love a good comedy... The hangover and Wedding Crashers are two of my favorites. And yes, a girl's gotta have a few chick flicks in her life. So, yes, I'm going to admit it up front... I have read all of the Twighlight books and seen the movies.Obviously from reading the above I am not a girly girl, although I do enjoy dressing up and going out. If I feel like putting on make up and jewelry I will - even if I know I am not going out anywhere. If I do not feel like it, I won't - even if I know I am going somewhere. Basically my motto is to be comfortable with who I am, whether I am dressed up, down or in costume. Hmmm... first date. Sushi. Seafood. Skiing. Miniature Golf (if I could switch my golf and my bowling scores, I might have a chance at winning!). OR: High ropes course. Walk in the park. Movie then coffee (I admit, I am not typically a coffee drinker, but a date can't just be a movie... And if I do have coffee make sure it is not highly caffeinated - I'll suddenly turn into an Olympic speed talker). Outdoor concert. Go Kart Racing. Thai. Not picky. I can have fun doing just about anything. I do draw the line at jumping out of a perfectly good plane though.
