I'm not so much into going to a bar....but if I do go...I like an "old joint"....I was married for 10 years then divorced...then had an 18 year relationship that I should have left much earlier...my son is grown...I feel like this is my time.....oh....one more little teeny,tiny thing: I sometimes have this tendency to go off topic during discussions....for example, we might be having a perfectly lovely conversation about quantum physics or Einsteins Theory of Relativity and I suddenly ask if you've ever seen an Amish person with a wooden leg.....because I haven't. Seriously.....think about it...(sigh....)these are the things that keep me up at night. ;). UPDATE: I apparently need to clarify something....when I said I prefer "an old joint" I meant an old Bar or club. VS a new loud, noisy club.....an. old joint. With a jukebox and a mahogany.bar....lol....not an old joint as in smoking.....lol! ***. Does anyone on this site DATE? I get lots of messages but when I suggest setting up a date, dead silence. Seriously....this isn't rocket science. Get out from behind your computer and lets go on a date! A couple drinks....some laughs....geez.....if its not a "love connection", so what? Big deal! A few hours of laughing will be fun!!!!!! ***.... Not interested in a texting relationship!!!! Coffee or drinks....some flirting....laughing and a really great kiss...

OK, if you want someone that is: NOT high maintenance, has little to no drama in their life, is stable, employed, not clingy, doesn't text or talk on the phone all the time, doesn't have to talk to their girlfriends or sister every day, can hold their own when discussing football but does have a feminine side she shows when she's comfortable, has very little baggage (atleast not the kind that is so large that you have to pay extra at the airport!), does not expect a man to take care of her but does enjoy being treated well, is not wishy-washy, enjoys trying different ice cold beers, is happy staying home but does like to socialize at the occasional party or go to a play or movie, and is very honest, considerate, and thoughtful, then........how about me?I like to receive and give affection and can be very playful sometimes. I like music that I can hear the words to, but occasionally will crank up something that just really rocks and I can't understand a thing they are saying. Oh, my favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird. I've seen the play also. Mmmmmm....it says I should talk about my goals and aspirations.....I just want to live happily and peacefully, and to continue enjoying nature and writing. I want to always do the right thing when it comes to my friends and family so that I will be known as a great friend (I am told I am), and an understanding person. I'm from western NY state originally but have been in SC for 32 years. I'm pretty sure I'm staying! I'm not one of those annoying Yankees so don't let that scare you. I want to find someone who I really look forward to seeing or hearing from most every day, maybe every day if it works out! To just be confortable with each other, and to know when to give each other space. Because nothing is worse for a relationship than crowding each other. I know how to treat a man well and help make his life a happy one. Thanks for reading! Something low key, such as coffee or just meeting somewhere to talk, or a short walk around a park.
