Where do I start.... up until October of ***I had a full time job and took care of my mom who had Alzheimer's. I had two strokes in Nov ***was unconscious for five days she thought I was sleeping, then when I was in a coma at ICU I had fluid on the spleen, my kidneys were failing, I got pneumonia, and I missed thanksgiving and Christmas. When I got out of ICU I was admitted to a room then around Christmas was sent to uw rehab where my pt was awesome because of Katie she helped me alot!!! Then on January 12 I was sent to Karmenta my therapy went backwards but I'm where I'm at now because of uw rehab and Katie not to mention the fine staff at meriter..... I'm a miracle I'm finally home after four and a half months and now use a walker because of my left leg please don't judge me I'm just looking for someone that appreciates my honesty up front and is willing to take a chance

I have read all of the profiles and while I have been entertained, I am not any closer to making any new friends. And I am not interested in attached men. For those who message me, I am unlikely to answer if you you don't have a picture to share. I admit to being superficial when looking at the pictures. In particular, if you look older than my father, I will take a pass. Good luck everyone.I am a widow. I've been on my own for 15 years, so I am in no hurry to jump into anything. It was easier to raise the kids this way. Now that they are becoming self sufficient young adults, I can share some of my time with new friends. I like people who are smart, funny and respectful. I would like someone who can hold up their end of the conversation and can handle some good natured teasing. My rule is, if you can dish it out, you had better be able to take it. It would be terrific if you like to cook, too. I go to the gym but it is still too soon to brag about the results. I did my first Run For the Cure 5 km in October. It was hard but I did it. I will do more 5 km runs. I just need to keep working at it so that it will be easier. I like working out, especially with friends. In time, I will be able to change my profile to "a few extra pounds" or "average build".I'm not interested in spending time with people who smoke or who have a problem with alcohol. Please have a picture of yourself (without sunglasses...lol) if you want me to respond to any messages. I am also not a fan of long hair or beards. I know the only way this is going to work is if we communicate directly and then meet in person, but I keep holding out for the possibility of meeting you at a friends place or Canadian Tire. My running joke about myself is...every time I think I want a puppy, a baby or a husband, I visit people who have them and I get over it....lol.When I am reasonably certain that you are not a serial killer, I would enjoy meeting for a coffee. If we hit it off, we can plan something fun.
