So all kidding aside, I am certainly a unique individual! I make my own growth a priority, which requires honesty with myself and with others, respect for myself and others as human beings, kindness, empathy, love, curiosity and inquisitiveness, and setting boundaries that protect myself, as well as others. Truthfully, I am always amazed with people that are "looking for their other half" or "trying to find someone they cannot live without." I am whole and fine with who I am alone with all my strengths and weaknesses, but enjoy having people in my life that enhance my life. I also always see people who portray that they like to have fun, and all the positive things in life, but the reality is that it is in times of stress that friendships and relationships are truly tested, and it is not during the good times that we see who one truly is, but during those stressfull times, when our "not so attractive sides" may come out. During those times, I always attempt to continue to be honest, respectful, gracious, and kind. When pain comes, *** lashing out at others, I absorb and take responsibility for my own pain and use it as a chance to grow. So where am I right now? Well, there is no substitute for honesty! Over the last few months, I decided that I would take that time to make myself a better person. I read and grew emotionally and spiritually. I started working out daily and eating healthy, and have now lost 45 pounds purposefully and continue to lose, and continue to get healthier. I continue to be a "work in progress," as I believe we never should stop seeking growth and bettering ourselves. I am now ready to meet people and expand my experience, making frienships first and foremost, and if something else begins to be created, to be open to it. When I care for someone, I truly care. I also attempt to respect everyone, even if they may not treat me well. I am a firm believer in not reacting in a way that exhibits the very same characteristics that may harm me, but ***, following my own heart and becoming the person I wish to become in all situations. I treat all the women I go out with in a very respectful manner, as a gentleman would. I am enthusiastic about life, which is apparent in my smile.At this time, if you would like a friend that is fun to hang out with, and enjoy each other's company, here I am!!!! I have some "eternal adolescence" in me, so I like to live younger than I am. To start as friends opens up great possibilities, and takes the pressure off forcing a relationship when it may not be the right thing to do. If you cannot do this, I am not your person.Also, although I empathize with your struggle I am not the right person to pursue a friendship or relationship with if you struggle with the following problems: do not respect another's feelings, are a "runner" and leave when your feelings start to surge in an uncomfortable manner you can't tolerate, continue to struggle with a traumatic past, have difficulties with addictive or compulsive behaviors, smoke, have borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, or depression, create drama where drama does not need to be reflected in your having continued volatile relationships, or continue to be stuck in an abuse paradigm, such as continuing to date someone who tears the door of your home down. If you struggle with these types of issues the reality is there is no way we can have a healthy and respectful relationship, and I am not looking to help someone work through these difficult issues in my personal life. I hope you will respect my wishes and find someone else, and I wish you luck on your healing path.TO END ON A POSITIVE NOTE: If you like going to festivals and like live music, I am your guy!....and coming up..... I told you I live young!!!!! This is tough to say, as I live by my heart. What does that mean? When I meet someone or start communicating with someone, my heart will tell me what a good first date would be with that person. We are all different, and thus to stay open to creating something fun and cool from those differences opens up the mystery and magic of life.....
