I'm the creative, fun-loving, easy-going sort who thrives on being social. I don't have to be the center of attention, though. Its no fun when one person is hogging the spotlight! One of my greatest joys in life is making others laugh. I'd love to be a stand-up comedian, but my humor is more situational, so I'm better off writing scripts. My interests are all over the place, & what I'm doing depends on how I'm feeling. On a laid-back evening, going out for a couple drinks with friends is ideal to me, but wherever we go has to have a patio, especially when the weather is nice! On a more active night, I enjoy going to see local bands I may or may not have heard of, go bowling, take my DSLR out & just cruise around taking pictures of the city with friends, take a walk with no destination in mind, etc.I do know when to be serious & responsible, though. I have a stable job with good pay, & I'm responsible with my money. I own my truck & home, and if I'm capable of it, I'd rather do the maintenance on each myself before hiring someone else to do it. I purposefully bought a house that was in great condition, but also has a lot of things I can do to make it even better & suit my personality.There's more to me than any written description can tell, so feel free to message me & ask questions :-) Something where we can interact & get a feel for one another's personalities. Depending on the day, we could chat over coffee or drinks, hang out at a park, go see a local band....just engaging in activities we both enjoy. No going to the movies or anyplace else we have to sit & be quiet at, though. Its hard to get to know one another when you can't interact at all!

Crazy to think what I write on here may or may not catch the attention of a future someone. The short of it is I'm a good guy. Once you get to know me, people know what I'm about pretty quick. Now the rest of it. I am an honest, giving, genuine, thoughtful person. Always up for anything and usually never avoid fun, but as I get older I've come to really enjoy the down time. I love sports and coach high school football and basketball. It sounds totally cliche but it is more than just sports, it's more working and building relationships with the kids. I'll go watch sports, I'll watch sports at home, I'll play sports and probably beat you... but I will also watch the notebook and get a little misty eyed. I have two college degrees in Political Science and Speech Communications. I teach at a special education school and work mostly with emotionally disturbed middle schoolers. I worked in politics as a lobbyist for a few years after college and found that sitting behind a desk in a suit and tie every day was just not me. Being close to family is important to me and is the main reason I moved back. I love to cook and can cook pretty much anything; however, I can't bake to save my life. Who am I looking for? Someone who is thoughtful, giving, and fun would be a good start. A sense of humor is an absolute must and being able to put up with a little sarcasm and roll with the punches is an even better start. A girl who is comfortable in Jeans and a sweatshirt at a 49er game, dressed up on a date, or watching movies in comfy clothes and a headband. I am easy to be with and fun to be around... And I don't want to meet the next girl I date in a bar so say hello!
