Where to start...well, I have a great sense of humor (so I've been told), I can be a bit of a smart ass but in a playful way. I love to make people laugh. Friends describe me as laid back but love to have fun and laugh. Being outdoors, hiking, movies, sports, and traveling are some of my favorite things. I have a Yellow lab and a cat. They are BFFs. Trying new things is always fun, I'll try nearly anything once. A good example is sushi, I never in a million years thought I would like it, but now I'm obsessed with it! People say I'm a good listener. Whenever someone seems to have something weighing on them, I always try to listen so they can get what they need to off their chest. Friends and family are extremely important to me. I also try to be as open and honest as I can. If someone asks me just about anything, I'll tell them exactly whats going on my mind, but not in one of those brutal honest ways. It's all in how you say things, you know? ;) Personally, I just try to treat people how I'd like to be treated, with respect, honesty and love. I do love to travel and have visited many different states. My music preferences vary widely. I like to listen to a wide range of things. Anything from country to R&B... They really just need to let you put an iPod list on here! I also love live shows! My Ideal match would be someone who's up for anything, likes to try new things and is drama free. Dinner or drinks at a quiet place where we can have a great conversation and get to know one another.

My hobbies are working out @ the gym, going out occasionally n I'm learning 2 play my acoustic guitar. I already can play like 8 songs in just under a year of having my guitar. i like going out 2 nice restaurants 2 eat good food n try new things. Watching movies, playing my ps3, and spending time with my family. My goals are to own my own home within the next three years, advance in my career with the CSX railroad, travel and see places in the world that I haven't, and find someone that has similar wants and interests to share it all with. I think what makes me unique is that I'm a happy medium of looks and personality that where one may be lacking the other picks up the slack... Love my Ravens n O's. My taste in music is as follows... I like anything with a good beat or story to the words of the song, but I prefer rock and not much for country, but am guilty of liking a good country slow song or two. Favorite singer..... Dinner... I've been told I look serious in my pics. I'm doing the thing most people do in their 30's... furthering my career and education... (Im pursuing a PhD) but there is much more to life than this. I'm all about being positive. I'm into yoga, meditation, biking, astronomy, physics, poetry, philosophy..... I've proudly embraced my inner nerd and am at peace with it. I love to wonder. I'm beyond incredibly curious about almost any topic. Don't worry... that's me. I don't expect it to be you. I can be more of a hippy than I look. I studied painting and drawing in undergrad, was a Marine for 6 years, and have pursued business for my both my masters and PhD. I have a really goofy side once you get to know me. I have an incredibly cerebral side to. I read more than most.... I want someone who I can laugh my ass of with and share a soulful connection. Me? Well, I'm usually quite busy. I work full time, go to school full time, and when I'm not doing that I'm usually out running or cycling. I like good food, good wine, and intelligent conversation.
