I am one of nine children, so family is especially important to me. I own my own business and have dedicated a great deal of my time and energy towards that and raising my two beautiful daughters. Now that they are married and raising families of their own, I am ready to slow it down and start living a little more for ME.I love to take long drives with no particular destination in mind, spending time at the beach, or just sitting on my porch, bbq grilling, music playing and watching the sun set. I enjoy most music (well except RAP!) and would like to start dancing again. I've not had much experience at this but here goes, I was married for 24 years. I have 2 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren. Who are very much a part of life. I love to laugh, and children are the greatest inspiration to laughter. I keep the granchildren while my daughters work, which keeps my days very busy. And very fun. I would very much like to meet someone who also enjoys laughter and fun. It doesn't have to be serious right off the bat. I think having a good friend is a great way to start. Im happily divorced almost a year now, which was the worst relationship ive ever experienced. I enjoy working out in the gym, biking (the old fashioned kind with peddles) and hiking. I like adventure and will try just about anything once (well within reason)! I love a challenge. I have learned over the past three years that anything is possible.Three years ago I decided to "work on me". I joined a gym, hired a person trainer, dropped over 100 pounds, and got into shape.I went from not being able to walk across the street to running long distances. Last summer I ran 2 half marathons. This summer it is 3 half marathons and a duathlon!It has been suriel - but I am having a blast.Now it is time to meet someone to share my life with. Someone who wouild like bike up Mount McKay - hike to the top of mountain and enjoy a picnic lunch.. Someone who likes working out, or at least accepts the fact that I like to. . . just like I can accept the fact that you might not be into that.I am also into CLASSIC TV (can't stand reality shows).
