I've come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as an "ideal" match. What I hope to someday find instead, is Mr. "Right for ME"! I guess you can say that is one way of "describing" "me"... to say that I'm a realist. Sure we can drum up an image in our minds of what a fantasy partner would be but in reality rarely does that come to pass. It's funny, but there are a lot of people who prefer to do that thinking if you don't connect with a person it is short and sweet and you can go your seperate ways quickly. I am not a big drinker and I find that it can be very ackward sitting across from someone staring at them with nothing to say and nothing to distract us. On the other hand, if you partake in an activity/event, there is something that takes the focus/tension off of the two people, should it come to that.I enjoy going to a movie, going to a sporting event, art festival, any outdoor event going on around town... I have been asked several times what it is I am looking for and I honestly don't have an answer for that, I stated I am looking for friends because isn't that how any good relationship should begin? I can give you a list of do's and do not's but would it really be you or you trying to conform to my idea of what I am looking for? I enjoy cooking guamanian food as much as I love eating it. Hmmm, what else? I generally dislike talking about myself, but what’s a profile without that right?I have two children, a 20 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. We get along well and have fun together, but they do have lives of their own. Time for me to do the same. As for music, I like all kinds, but not a real fan of country. My kids keep me in the loop on the latest stuff (but my heart still lies with 80's rock). I enjoy going to concerts. There is nothing like hearing a favorite song performed live. I love my job and what I do is very important to me, but I do know how to prioritize. I am a self sufficient person but not a type A personality. I am fun loving, have a good sense of humor and enjoy people who are quick witted. I am not a huge sports fan. It is probably because I do not fully understand all the "rules of the games" and never had anyone to really explain them to me. I am willing to learn though!I enjoy working out and try to get some form of physical activity in regularly. I stay pretty busy during the day so in the evening I enjoy relaxing in front of the television or reading a good book (because why would you read a bad book right?). I am not a couch potato but like my down time. I am pretty open minded about most things and I do enjoy exploring new places and revisiting old favorites, whether they are close to home or far away.
