I am high spirited and fun loving. I love to laugh and be playful, as well as have late night meaningful conversations. Music has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with it all around me. I started singing at a very young age and even played a few instruments. I love almost all kinds of music, but I will always be a bit of a rock and roll girl. When I find the time, I like to get into creative mode, crafting, taking photographs and decorating. I love having something to look forward to, whether it's the next vacation, camping trip, or just the up and coming weekend. Great dinners out trying exotic foods are so much fun to me, but I also enjoy curling up on the couch with bowl of popcorn and watching a funny movie. I tend to stay up too late and hate to get up early. My favorite place in the world is anywhere by the ocean! I live for summer and suffer through winter. Fitness and nutrition is really important to me and I try to stay in good shape. Due to a recent ankle injury I can't go as hard as I used to, so lately Palates is my new exercise. So, that's me.....I love life and I am excited to find someone special to share it with.

I’m an uncomplicated, drama free person and would like to keep it that way. My view on relationships is that we should complement each other and bring out the best in one another. I am an animal love to the core, at times a bit overboard but I will do what I can to help an injured animal or rescue one. My pets are my family and I would like to share this mindset with my partner. I have owned my own recruiting business for more than 10 years. I can blend in and know how to handle myself in the most formal or casual environments. I am physically fit, athletic and maintain a relatively healthy lifestyle. My weekends are usually spent at home relaxing, I have a horse she lives on my property so I usually ride, take care of errands and at night I'll take myself to a nice dinner, have some wine and occasionally go out with a girlfriend and listen to a band at the local tavern. Thrilling life I know but it works for me and I would love to share with it with the right man. I'm not completely set in my ways, I'm up for trying new things I just need to meet the right person to try them with. At some point on down the road I would like to travel and see the world. A few things that would be nice to share with my partner are music and dancing, it’s not a must but I do love to country and salsa dance. I don't do it much these days but I would like to. Looking forward to getting to know you. I prefer casual settings where we can relax, have a beer, glass of wine or coffee and get to know each other.

Let me jump right in with the things I love: I love the outdoors (hiking, skiing, skating, etc.). Out in nature is where I find peace. I also love animals, all types of music, art, movies, and new experiences.I'm interested in philosophy, psychology, sociology, and science in general. I'm creative, independent, affectionate, and liberal-minded with a good sense of humor (I hope). I'm a bit of a neat freak. I'm passionate, but without a lot of drama. I'm also a vegetarian, but I don't preach to anyone. I take a live-and-let-live approach to life. I enjoy a good discussion and can see both sides of a topic, but at the same time, I don't like to fight or argue. I believe in treating others the way I want to be treated. And that's how I live my life. I enjoy doing volunteer work in my spare time (I have no children, so less responsibilities, more free time). I've done everything from helping clean up the coastline (I don't ascribe to a "princess" mentality) to a 5K run/walk to planting trees. I'm driven to making the world a better place while I'm here. Also, when volunteering, I get a sense of community--something that's lacking these days.I'd like to meet someone who shares a lot of my beliefs and interests, but also has a few separate hobbies. I don't care how little or how much money you have--I'm self-supporting. Every once in awhile, I need some alone time to reflect and recharge, and I will gladly give you the same in return. I'm especially drawn to creativity and intellect. Or Huckleberry Finn?I'll end my profile essay with a few FUN and WACKY facts: I adopted two adult wolves (don't worry--they live away from home).I went to the Vatican and down in the sepulcher, I had Deja vu (eeeeek!!!)I used to shoot skeet (hey, I'm a PACIFIST).I once won a dance contest--on roller skates! Anywhere is fine, as long as it isn't in a sepulcher! ;-)

..but I am not afraid to cross the river! I am an outgoing, social person, but like my downtime at home too. I do not watch much TV but enjoy watching sports (Vikings, Twins and Wild). I have two grown children (prefer not to date someone with young children). I am looking to date in the metro area.To keep busy I volunteer, love live music (blues, jazz, rock, country and trop-rock), happy hours (good food cheap) and of course work! I love to meet people and learn about them. I value diversity and treat others with respect. While I am educated and have a professional position, I am never far from my blue collar roots. I try to live life without regret and learn the lesson from my mistakes. I am strong in my faith, but not preachy. If I could do anything without regard to money I would open a small restaurant/bar in a tropical place. My first date is very common, but there is nothing wrong with that. I like first dates that are casual. The focus should be on getting to know one another. Coffee or wine is fine. It is important that it is a comfortable environment. Hey-it is not a major life event-it is just a date!

I'm, wondering if there is really such a thing as an equal..... I would like to find an open, honest, emotionally available,stable man (who I find attractive) to share my life with. The problem is that I am very picky and I have high standards. This is can be tricky because it's difficult to describe "what" or "who" I'm looking for. But I will know it when I see it.:) None of us are perfect but if you are interested in a relationship where we can celebrate the good and work together through the rough then we are thinking on the same level.I don’t really believe in soul mates but I want a relationship where 2 people come together as equals and form something greater than the sum of its parts.I've decided to with hold some information, because these things can get too long and boring. This I will share , I take care of myself by maitaining a healthy diet, work out 4+ days a week ,enjoy Bikram Yoga, music(mostly rock), running in the rain, easy Sunday mornings, finding that cold spot in the sheets and laughing until it hurts. I love my life, my family, love my work and consider myself lucky to have amazing supportive friends. BTW Guys, I have to wonder what is with all the photo's of fishing, sunglass wearing and baseball caps?? Not my favorite when seeking a date... wondering if I would only be taken on fishing trips and what are you hiding under that cap and behind those dark sunglasses.. Boating, not a favorite either.... love the water but I get motion sickness in small boats so if you're looking for a second mate keep looking because you won't find it here., . First let me start by saying that ALL of my pics are current and are from this year 2013 and hopefully your pics are too! I am a single mom with a 10 yr old son. I have a great job and feel very fortunate to get to work with such a great group of people for the past 12 years at the same company. I am looking for someone to spend some quality time with.
