I enjoy being active mentally, physically and spiritually. I enjoy good company, deep conversations, and surrounding myself with genuine people. I believe in working hard, and playing hard. I like that-- it makes me think, and understand this crazy world.I love music mostly everything but hard-rock, or techno..that just drives me nuts!;) First dates are tricky..you can look at pictures of someone, write to them, text each other to death.. but there is nothing like looking in someone's eyes, being able to feel each other's energies..that is either magical or not. One thing about connection is that it doesn't come around too often in our lives, but once you find it -- its the closest thing to real magic ever. I guess my response would have to be that - first dates are a place where you can either see potential or not..

I like to travel - beach destinations are my favorite, as I am a scuba diver. I prefer the summer to the winter. I like seeing some local bands, going into NYC to a comedy club or show. I recently bought my own house, and I'm looking forward to doing a lot of gardening and grilling in the back yard. I worked hard to get to where I am - other than occasional Powerball, I'm not much for gambling. I would say that I'm low maintainence...I can be ready to go pretty much anywhere in under 30 min, I have no aversions or allergies to food, I enjoy excellent health. I'm a little afraid of heights (which is why ziplining was a really big deal for me). I am innately curious, and hence love the internet. I can learn anything at any time of the day or night...about the kind of salamander found in my backyard, how to replumb my shower using PEX (yes, I did it!!!) recipes, what kind of plants are deer resistant (artificial), restaurant reviews, everything! First dates are awkward. If there is potential after initially meeting....live sporting events, the dog park, go cart racing, winery tour, ethnic restaurant. Movies require silence...not ideal for getting to know someone...and I'm okay with that.

I'm a recent MBA grad, and I completed my degree while working full-time and raising my 7 year old son, which did not leave me much time for anything else. Being a single, full-time working Mom, I need to be very independent in order to survive, but would very much like to find an intelligent, romantic, well rounded man (with a small dose of bad boy for good measure) to spend my free time with and eventually share my life. I am very grateful to have a terrific family and a close knit group of friends who mean the world to me. Communication is key to a successful relationship.
