I love to travel. I've had many wonderful experiences in my life and I'm not done yet! I love to explore exotic locals and my own back yard. I am looking for someone to laugh with. If I think it, I'll probably end up saying it. I can put my filter on when I must out of respect for my profession and for the elderly, but most of the time, I prefer to say what I think and feel. I always find it amazing when people are surprised by that. Are we really getting that used to people lying? I haven't dated in a very long time. I hear it's like riding a bike and I do remember how to do that. I don't trash talk my ex. He's not perfect by a long shot, but he is my son's father and I thank him for that gift. We're not friends, though, either. If we were, we'd still be together, right? I am independent. I don't need a man in my life, but I want one if he treats me right. I can take care of myself and my home but I also love being taken care of -- I think. I would be willing to give it a try at least. I'm not a gold digger, but I also will not be supporting you financially. I love to do home repairs and I'm quite handy. I can sweat copper and do basic electrical and carpentry work. I've remodeled two houses and love making a house a home. I like to surprise my mate with little treats. I believe it is my job to add to his world and make him happier. Basic happy is everyone's own responsibility. I don't argue or fight. If I'm angry or unhappy, I will clearly specify why. If it's something that my mate did, I expect him to apologize and not do the same thing again. If it's not something he did, he doesn't need to fix it, but he's welcome to offer suggestions if he understands that I might not take them.I am smart and kind and funny. I am not a model nor will I ever be one. I'm more of a low maintenance kind of woman. I am clean and care for myself, but I believe in light make up and dressing conservatively. I have very long hair, which I feel is my best feature. I have pretty eyes and laugh easily. I don't look my age yet, but wouldn't mind if I did. It's all how old you feel inside. Wonderfull time of year with the colors of fall!I'm an independent person and do not need someone in my life, however would enjoy having a special partner to share life with. Some of my great qualities are: honesty, patience, attentiveness, punctuality, enthusiasm, flexibility, cautiousness, sensitivity, diligence, joyfulness and more..My friends say I am very outgoing person. It is wonderful to have many great friends in my life. I can be outgoing, and I can also be quiet and serious.About the one I'm looking for...Do you have kindness, cooperation, and passion, are you thoughtful towards others, trusting, responsible, honest, friendly, cheerful and affectionate, do you have appreciation and are hard-working? If so I may be looking for you.. Relationships are give and take, they require reciprocation to thrive and survive. How about treating others how you would like to be treated? This is definitely one trait I am looking for.I'd just like to add...It would be nice to enjoy spending time with someone to attend various activities together with. RV camping weekends, skiing weekends, travel to various holiday destinations (have a current passport), bicycle riding, rollerblading, walking the dog, skiing (would like to get back into it), cuddles on the couch, a challenging game of crib, cards (Euchre anyone?) or board games. Dinner get togethers/wing nights with friends. And to share in some of the activities you enjoy too. But not all, you and I both need time to spend apart a little too. Note: I believe that you should not have to give up what activities/toys you have enjoyed doing prior to us getting together. As if you request this of a person, which is taking away what is part of them. Well I did it, signed up for the gym a month ago and am using the membership! Enjoying going during my lunch hour, and feeling the results already.Share the good and the bad, great conversations, showing someone with little notes/cards how you feel about them. How about those little mischievous looks at each other, with private smiles and thoughts running through your heads?Campfires - watching the flames dance and enjoying the relaxing moments together holding hands. Oh and what about hot tubs.....Some of the TV shows I enjoy are NCIS, Criminal Minds, Survivor, Amazing Race. CSI.On my ipod you will find, old time rock and roll and country music.
