Successful, sincere single mom who is passionate about living life to the fullest. I make everyday count! I love spending time with my 2 boys playing sports, our favorites... hockey, baseball and football (my favorite is basketball). Family is the most important thing to me. My job is demanding but challenging ! I ease the pain by driving in everyday ..I must be crazy... it is actually not so bad! I consider myself a positive and ambitious person and open to pretty much anything..! Looking for a gentlemen that shares the same views on life as I do. This may seem shallow but in reality looks and chemistry are the first thing people do see. So if you are not appealing to most people then sorry keep looking, if you don't have a photo on your profile, please do not waste my time and contact me no matter how hot you think u are, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder (that being me). Please if you have long hillbilly hair, big beer gut, look like your 60 but are only 40 something, please keep moving. I maybe getting close to 50 but don't even come close to looking it so thank you but I am not ready to date someone that looks that old.I am a divorced mother of an awesome 9 yr boy who is my world and will always come first. That being said, it's time I found my own play date LOL. We also rescued great dog about a ***ago. I was with my ex for 15 yrs but married for 10 of those yrs. So now I am back in the dating pool. I am 43yrs old and told on a daily basis that I look much younger. I am caring, helpful, generous, honest, trustworthy and a great kisser, I also believe that I am fairly decent looking and believe it is only fair to have the same thing with the person that I chose to share my world with that being said, I am also a good person, family then friends. If I give you my heart then there isn't anything I wouldn't do for you. You would think that would be easy but....NO ITS NOT.I like most kinds of music even country but don't really care for rap. I like to cook or bake with someone, playing in the rain, watching movies, listening to music while playing cards or board game. Making ice cream sundaes, eating junk food, Kicking the soccer ball around with my son, roller skating. My idea of a good first day would be to meet at a coffee shop or casual place in between both of us and enjoy a drink, and maybe share a desert while getting to know each other. If we connect the date can always go longer.

Well, where do I begin. I love working out, hanging with friends and family, going to concerts, or having quiet evenings at home. Like to go out and do karaoke and make the occasional fool of myself...lolI would love to get my bsa and become an R.N. Love working in the healthfield. I was a fitness coach and would love to get my license to be a personal trainer. Not sure anyone can keep up with me though. ;)I love living life to the fullest. Life is too short so I make every minute count. Iam up for trying ANYTHING once. I like to make everyone feel special because we all need to feel worthy of being loved and needed.I don't really have a type of music, i like all kinds...iam a die hard parrothead though so if you don't like Jimmy Buffett then we have problems..lol Hmmm...Iam a hopeless romantic...so I would probably take my date for a nice dinner and maybe a play. After that we would go for coffee and just sit and get to know one another. I could also make a picnic lunch and bring some nice wine. we could spend the day swimming and boating. Then when it gets dark we could sit outside and just cuddle and look at the stars and talk.

I absolutely love to travel and experience new things. I have a strong work ethic, but I've been trying really hard to focus on a work - life balance. There are many perks with my job. That said, I am not pretentious, do not live beyond my means, and appreciate the little things in life. Spending time with friends and family is very important to me.I believe in giving back to the community, helping the little guy (Mom & Pop stores, local farms, etc.), and Paying it Forward. Yes, I am "one of those" people who will pay for someone's meal anonymously.Along the lines of how much I love to travel - I love to cook and bake. I tend to start cooking and throw together amazing combinations. It's all about cooking with love ... and spices. In the same bucket with traveling and cooking, music is also a huge part of my life. If I have a bad day at work, I come home, put the stereo on 20, start singing, and blaze a trail through the kitchen! As Zac Brown would say, "sing up until the darkness it is lifted".I'm not looking to be swept off my feet on the first date, but I definitely need chemistry and attraction to be evident when we meet. You get brownie points for being a great kisser (I'm not saying this is necessarily going to happen on the 1st date, but I'm just saying). If you are looking for a skinny twig - I'm not for you. I'm toned, curvy, and a very affectionate individual. I'm also working on losing weight, so if you think I am a little thick for you, el well. Move on.I do not have children; wouldn't mind having one or two, but am also open to dating someone who has children. My Self Truths: 1) Honesty is a must. A lie is going to hurt a lot more than the truth. 2) I live small to live large 3) I would rather be alone than be lonely with you. No drugs, no exceptions. A casual lunch or dinner and an easy flowing conversation. Sometimes just a stroll in the park is a good way to get to know someone on a first date.****PRIVACY NOTICE: Warning-any person and/or *** this website or any of its associated websites, you do NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained herein including but not limited to my photos. I'm just looking to meet some new people and find some things to do in the area. I have a list of places I'd like to check out, but most of them would be more fun with someone else.POF's categories that describe what I'm looking for just baffle me, so here it is. I'm looking to meet someone, become friends and date, and if it turns into a long-term relationship that would be my ideal scenario, but I am not in a hurry. I am really okay on my own, but I have decided that I have never settled for just being okay so why should I when it comes to my personal life? Besides, if things don't work out, I'm a stealthy stalker... you'll hardly notice me. (Just kidding... no restraining orders, I promise!).About me. I'm a science geek... climatologist and infectious disease ecologist by training. However, I never outgrew my fascination with dinosaurs and bugs. I began chasing storms before Doppler, laptops, and cell phones, but I don't chase often any more. I also volunteer at a YMCA day camp, leading science activities for kids of all ages (they let me blow stuff up!). I have a job that I really like, and I am finally at a point where I do not feel the need to work around the clock. Yellowstone is like a second home for me, and I like the northern Rockies in general. I prefer winter to summer, mountains to beaches, and snow to oceans, but at the end of the day I will make the most of any location my life takes me. I enjoy going to festivals in small towns, even when I don't know a soul, and have a hard time resisting a local greasy spoon or a street dance with a local band. I don't drink much, but I appreciate a dive bar and have been known to pick up a pool cue and pull off a surprising shot or two in spite of otherwise inconsistent play overall. I may also pick up a dart, but you should be prepared to duck (regardless of whether I've been drinking or not). I am fearful of crowds... but that may play in your favor if you don't mind having me glued to your side with my fingernails digging into your arms. The hyperventilation usually passes quickly. And the answer to the big question is: I am a dog person. I would like to have a few around the house, but my schedule hasn’t allowed that, so for now I am a vicarious pet owner. I’ve never met a dog that didn’t eventually like me, and I l am particularly fond of big ol’ farm mutts with bad attitudes.
