I'm looking for a confident, easy going person with a sense of humor. Someone who is open to new things. I have fun hanging out and watching movies but I also like to go out with friends to socialize. I want someone who is straight forward and honest. I love life, my friends and my family. My music taste ranges...I'm pretty open to all of it. Although I have to admit I am an 80's nut! I love most sports. Hockey is my favorite..Go Blackhawks! My children are my first priority and take up a lot of my time. However, I also value my personal time and would like to spend it with someone who shares my interests. Hanging out, hiking, meeting for coffee or going to dinner, mexican is my favorite, I'd enjoy getting to know the person I'm with.

I have been "told" I'm stuck up or rude, because I don't reply to every message or request I get. I don't think that's me. I just don't see a point in wasting someones time, if I'm not interested. Let's face it; any relationship starts with an attraction. I don't take it personal when I don't get a response from someone.I don't consider myself a materialistic person. I work hard for what I have. Which is not alot by some standards. But we're content. I don't like people that think their material belongings define them. Don't get me wrong; I like to have nice things and good for those that can afford them. But I don't see a reason to live beyond your means. Just sayin' lol On a first date: it would be nice to be somewhere somewhat quiet. That way we could talk & get to know each other. Rather than yell over a crowd. Always time for crowds later. A nice dinner or maybe just coffee and a walk in the park. It wouldn't neccessarily have to be dressy. Casual is good also.

About me I like most music except opera. Summer is my favorite time of the year. Being a mom is my greatest accomplishment . I like reading John Grisom, & Dean Koontz are two of my favorite authors .;I enjoy being with my family. I drink, smoke & cuss love to party & have a good time,but also like to lay on my couch & watch a good movie.I love to cook & bake. If there's anything else you want to know ask me. I am a fun loving, truthful , kind, caring, funny and spontaneous person just wanting to meet a man who is of a similar nature. I am not into head games, and hope you aren't either.When not in school, I can usually be found in the kitchen cooking and baking. It's a huge stress reliever to be able to cook/bake for friends and family. I have two amazing roommates, and we share dinner together at least twice a week. I have 3 amazing grown children. They give me strength and the courage to strive to be a better person in this world. I have always lived my life by trying to do for others. My thought is money is just a means to provide, but it's what you do for others that defines who you are. Actions speak louder than words, don't just tell me, show me. I am not impressed by how much money you make, because I make my own. I never judge a book by it's cover, I read it so that I know what it's all about. We are not put on this planet to judge others. This seems to be a problem for some. Until you walk in someone else's shoes, you shouldn't have anything to say about it. I love to laugh, and think a great sense of humour makes the world go round :0)Music has been a huge part of my life. I was brought up in a musical family. My dad is a professional jazz musician, so I love everything from jazz to hard rock, and just about everything in between, except rap. I very much believe that music is the window to one's soul. It shows a vulnerable side in us all, and can express so much. I was very lucky to work at a Nascar affiliated race track. I loved every second of it, and have traveled far to go to the races. I even like watching the races on tv, LOL...I have just completed my first year of college, and am truly excited about it!
