I'm a nerd, and an artist. I enjoy video games, comics, movies, music and how they are made. As well as art in a classical sense. Women who start off their profile with "I love to laugh!" Really? No kidding. Even super-villains like to laugh. A lot. Might as well put "breathes often" in your interests.2. Your boobs as your profile pic. I know they're awesome, but there is a whole other half of the internet that is boob-based. How about you show me a pic of why YOU are awesome, and not your "girls".3. Psychopaths and psychotics. Like to murder people? You are not for me. Fixate to the point of lunacy on something or somebody? Not for me. Have no qualms hurting everyone around you to cover your own ass? Not for me.4. Monosyllabic messages. Let's all agree online dating is weird. But it doesn't get easier if all I get from you is "Hi", or if I try to ask you questions to get to know you better and all I get is "Yes or No". Conversations are about our only tool for weeding out the weirdos here. You've got to at least TRY. 5. I can't believe I'm having to tell GIRLS this, but its come up more than I'd like...I'm NOT interested in open relationships, one night stands, or **** buddies. You should have asked me when I was in Highschool, and still thought that crap was cool.Pretty easy, right?So, make it to end of all this and still give a crap? Then send me a message, I'd like to meet you. On a first date, I would likely meet you somewhere relaxing to eat, or have a drink. I would attempt to look at your eyes when we talk rather than any other part of your anatomy that might be showing. I would make sure to order something I could eat without looking like a barbarian. After a good bit of small talk to break the ice, and hopefully getting to know you better, we could take a walk, see a movie, go to your favorite bar, or just watch stupid cat videos on your iphone, I don't really mind as long as you're fun company. I think the correct term would be "Winging it". After all, it's about getting to know you more than the activity.

I guess it depends on the person I'm planning a date with. As long as we are both comfortable and entertained, I think the rest will take care of itself. The chemistry will come through on it's own. It must be organic and effortless.
