I am a divorced dad of an awesome 5 yr old who couldn't be happier with how her mom and I have raised her. Obviously I shouldn't have to go into how much she means to me or how important she is in my life. But just to be clear, she is my rock. I'm sorry to inform you but there are NO pics of me shirtless in the bathroom mirror or of any of my "toys" (cars,motorcycles,boats,planes,etc,etc) in my profile.Here are some things that I think make 'me'...well..."ME"Strength, affection, a drive to succeed, someone who doesn't blame others for their current situation, family oriented, drug and smoke free, someone who doesn't need to go out every night to be entertained, quick, albeit somewhat sarcastic sense of humor, originality, has a job, likes to camp (you should at least have a willingness to try it), healthy, non-fast food eater, care about my image (far from...metrosexual but not a slob by any means), affectionate, likes to hold hands,"conscious" as defined: aware of ones own existence, sensations, thoughts, surroundings, etc., likes to try different things (food,restaurants,cities,concerts) is not afraid to open up and share emotionally and/or physically, affectionate, like to exercise, moral, believes in always doing the right thing (whether or not any else agrees or is aware), financially stable, flexible and understanding of all of the stress and commitment that a FULL time job and a shared custody family entails. Oh yeah, I also come virtually debt free and I'll probably annoy you with my Southern manners :)These are just some of the many things I feel you will find that makes me who I am and are important to me. I'm on meetville so at least i'm out there, if you will. I do have camping and horse trails however, and so I keep good company often times. I'm perfectly indipendent and content on my own, yet i'm only getting older. I don't like depending on anyone but myself, so I'm not looking for the "desperate for a relationship", or the "unstable dishonest one with something to hide" It would be the honest and/or meek that will get my attention. And I am very good at knowing the difference. Trust should be earned, not given or taken easily. However I do give out benifets of doubt like candy. One has to, i suppose. ...Been seven years single. Been hiding away probably much too long, yet can go seven more if I have to, So if I were to be with a gal, she would have to have good morals, portionate to my size, and lovely from the inside out. And it's imperative that she be content beyond where the concrete ends, at least some of the time. I'm somewhat allergic to concrete if on it too long. I'm not afraid to try new things, yet i'm not a crowd person either. I do have heart and I tend to like the individual more so than the group. Of course, that depends on the group. I don't beleave the right one is right next door, but that has also been the delema. Too far has been an issue, thus far. I do have to say, that i have realy enjoyed the corospondance and the meeting of a few lovely ladies from here! However, I will not settle for whats less than best for me. Good luck! Right? Well I know my chances, and i'm okey with that. All it takes is one. In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with writing. Feel free to write and/or ask questions. I would like to hear from you. I find working out boring but a necessary evil. I would welcome a work out partner but its not a requirement. I can't say that tatoos are my favorite, but if they're in the right place & are the right size they're alright. I don't have any because I can't think of what I would want. Nothing against God & Jesus but I don't and won't attend church regularly. I have my reasons. I would go for christmas or a special occasion though. Whatever you'd like.
