But, my roots are deeper in IL than CA, so...now I'm back. Got to see a little snow as well. I'm looking to meet some single, femme ladies to converse with. Bars n clubs are good n all, but I prefer someplace a little quieter. Music of most genres appease me. Growing up in the 80's was such a trip. Melissa Etheridge is my hero on many levels and is one of my favorite artists. The list goes on. All ya gotta do is ask. Just starting to get back into books again, and I've dabbled with writing. There's no easy way to say this, so I'll call it my brutal honesty segment...I am a breast cancer ***and thyroid cancer ***survivor!! Due to that, I've been placed on disability. It's kinda like super early retirement. Nice at first, but the novelty wears out soon. I do lots of things to keep myself entertained. ***got me thru the rough stuff and is a part of my life. I simply can not be around cigarettes, so if you smoke those, I can't be around you. Happy to add, I'm a Receptionist Extraordinare at a barber shop, P/T. Also got another P/T job walking dogs. I'm looking to meet some new ladies, to befriend...possibly meet. I've been sitting on the bench as I'm a couple years out of a long relationship, so I may be a little rough around the edges. Romantically, I believe in opening doors, helping you avoid puddles, or broken glass. Not trying to give too much of myself away here, but I'm the type of lover who likes to please my mate more so than I feel it returned. You follow me? Friends are great from all corners of the world.
