I like to try new things and learn; foods, shows, books, places, etc...I enjoy a good conversation and a couple of laughs with all different types of people. Traveling is something that I aspire to include in my spirit of adventure, but, I am holding back a little because my spirit of adventure includes my children. I enjoy them tremendously. That is adventure in itself!I like all different types of music, but I could do without country music. I usually listen to the "Top 40", lots of dance music, classical, jazz, and I like to throw in a little of the crooners! I have a few favorite shows. I recently saw the movie "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"It's really hard to describe myself in a nutshell, but the most important thing about me is that I am a positive, happy person who believes in being kind and also enjoys a little mischief. I described myself as crafty and that is meant figuratively not literally!Although I am divorced, there is no drama in my life. I am in an an amicable relationship with my ex. I choose to deal with it and move on. No ones back door step is always clean, nor do I expect it to be. We all have a past, as well as I do, so you have to be able to accept the past and allow it to remain in the past to be able to move forward, so don't treat me as if I am gonna treat you like someone in your past has, because I am NOT that person, as you will be given the same respect. If you not looking for an adult relationship that is mature and respectful then I'm not the one for you. NO GAMES. I think a good first date doesn't have to involve the typical "dinner and a movie". Where the man is not pushy, he shows a true interest in me personally, flirting is fine, yet not overboard, and also he is capable of showing a general interest in things that I'm interested in. It's important that the date include time to get to know each other and a movie just doesn't lend that kind of time. Dinner is good but it can be a little too formal for the first date. I think going for walk around a lake or park and then doing something that you both agree on afterwards.

I like to read and write, go out to dinner, go to movies, take walks around the lake or park. I am shy at first but once you get to know me better I open up more. I like Christian rock, jazz, classic rock, soft rock and pop music. I would like to go out and have dinner. then, I would like to go to a quiet place and talk and get to know one another better. I do love this part. I am 42 y/o with a 22 y/o daughter that is the love of my life. But, she is grown and is on the verge of a fabulous life of her own. Now, it's time for mom to have a little fun. I am rediscovering my love of the outdoors. I absolutely love hiking and would like to start kayaking. I guess you can gather then that I am tired of sitting at home and I am looking for someone that likes to get up and go on the weekends. I'm not picky. Whatever.What else, I recently quit smoking, bout 8 months now. So, I still consider myself a smoker and I do enjoy the occassional second hand smoke. I would prefer that you don't smoke, but I did it for 20 years, so I can't really fault you if you still smoke. But, if you are a chain smoker, I think we probably would not be a match. Kids - As I said, mine is grown. But, I'm okay if you have younger kids. But, I do not want to have anymore children. I would say that I will probably be a grandmother within the next 10 years or so. I have to admit I am looking forward to the grandma bit. But, I want to be the awesome grandma that takes them ziplining, teaches them how to fish, or hits grounders to them. Like my dad with my daughter. Ok, maybe he didn't take her ziplining, but I want to do that one myself so yep it's on the list of cool stuff to do with my grandkids.

Update***** After being on here for a little bit I have to say if you are wanting naughty pics dont contact me..or if you want a one night stand..I am not looking for that. I like to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy dancing, walks, watching the kids play, fishing, camping, reading, watching movies, cuddling and just having a good time.I am not the type of person who has to have money spent on her.
