Ok, I've noticed that you women think it's cheesy to have pics on our profiles "shirtless".... Mine are just because it was HOT as HELL outside, I sure wouldn't be trying to show off! Nobody seems to read this crap, so I'm going to just vent..... So you say you want a funny, honest, loyal, dependable, stable, hard working, nice, warm hearted, attractive, down to earth, energetic, driven, open minded, tall, dark, & handsome man.... Really!?! Oh, let's not forget about your qualities! You are open-minded, compassionate, generous, love to laugh, fun, caring, honest to a fault...... Oh Bull pucky!!!! (not my first choice, but I can't say S#T)..... I'm so sick of reading these shopping lists! Really, you love to laugh?!! Who doesn't?!! I have never bust out laughing & thought to myself "God, I hate this feeling of overwhelming joy!". & if you are NOT on here for FWB or a booty call, maybe you shouldn't take pictures of yourself with the camera halfway down your shirt.... Trying to make your boobs look bigger than they really are!?! ...& holy shnikies, what is up with the body type thing.... A few extra pounds? Damn! What is wrong with honesty? Show us who you are, not what you think we want to see or hear! Now I'm sure some women like to fish, but really.... If I grabbed a couple of poles & walked down to a bug infested river bank, would you want to go "fishing" then? & they should really have another category for "do you drink".... Every weekend should be a choice, cuz it sure seems that there are alot of profiles that every pic is at the bar, but she drinks "socially", well that's one drunk-ass social butterfly! It's just getting old, reading through all of these profiles, then I go on a date & the person is so NOT who they said they were! I know, I know.... Men are guilty of it too! You know what, I've probably never heard of your town either, but google mine & you might find out it's 20 minutes away.... This online dating thing just might not be for me... But being lonely sucks too. I guess what my rant is all about is.... If you describe yourself as all of these wonderful qualities, like open-minded, understanding, compassionate..... Why Oh why can't you give a brutha a chance? At least my profile is honest! Lol! Don't get me wrong, I have standards & can probably be guilty as coming off as shallow when I look at profiles. Oh my God, is there anybody out there that is as sick of this as I am?!! I'm not a negative person usually! Lol! So.... Along with this whole "truth in advertising" kick that I'm on... I am a new member of the amputee club (not sure if there really is a club!?!) I lost my lower left leg in an accident at work last year. But, I am using a prosthetic now & getting along pretty well. I think this kinda scares women off... But it is what it is. Believe me, I wish I still had 2 legs too, but I'm probably still more active than alot of guys out there! ;) I really want to find someone that will tempt me to get on a dance-floor again! I love all kinds of dancing! I do like to raise Hell once in a while, but I don't drink. So if you need to be at the bar, flashing your (*)(*)'s & making out with your besties every weekend, I'm probably not your guy! Sorry ladies, just not into that, anymore! Lol! I'm a hard-working guy, who takes pride in being the best Dad I can be. I like trying new things and going on adventures. I love the outdoors, but not into hunting really (I can't seem to get off a shot, without having to look in the poor little fellers eyes!), I do enjoy doing some fishing, when I can though. Going to the movies & out to dinner is what I normally do for fun these days. I actually like to go to the mall & do some shopping or just people watch. I suppose this is where I try to set myself apart from the rest.... so here it goes... I am a good hearted guy with alot to give the right woman! I tend to wear my heart on my sleave and have learned through trial & error, how to communicate my feelings. This might sound alittle cheesy, but I think alot of relationships fail due to a lack of being yourself. People tend to act, how they think, their partener wants them to act. You have to be true to yourself, otherwise you end up resenting your significant other, when you realise you've tried to please them so long, that you've lost yourself along the way... What I guess I'm trying to say is I know who I am, and would like to find someone who knows who they are. I'm NOT looking for a specific "type", I think the small things that make a woman unique is what makes them beautiful. Dont let this rant fool you though, I like to act like a nut-job from time to time. I get a kick out of making people luagh! I've been told that I can come off as intimadating, but I dont get it! I can be a bit sarcastic, but I mean it all in fun. The last thing I want to do is hurt anyones feelings. Unless you hurt someone I care about, then the gloves come off! I have been divorced for going on 4 years now & get my kids every-other weekend. I have a 10 y/o daughter & a 16 y/o son who are a couple great kids! Not just becouse they are mine eighther. I'm on this site to try & find love, but thats a tall order to fill. So I'm open to just meet some new people & see where it leads. Someday ONE lucky girl is going to find this guy & sweep me of of MY feet & the rest of you will be sorry! LOL!
