Cooking and dancing in the kitchen together, setting outside looking at the stars, by the campfire, wrapped up in each other, his smile as his eyes meet mine when he walks through that door. Things I miss doing for him: leaving him a little surprise note to find in his lunch bucket, candy kiss included, after a bad day at work-the next morning, I leave him the fishing rod he was saving for in the front seat of his truck , when he's sick bringing in a cool washrag and wiping his feverish face with it, giving him a massage and watching him relax totally, leaving lipstick kisses on the bathroom mirror and a note for him to find in the morning, in the evening he lays his head in my lap and I caress his face/ head and he falls asleep, putting a smile on his face just by being there when he walks through the door.. I guess the common most practical thing would be to meet somewhere for eats, and sit and chat to get to know one another. And the safest these days.
