Decided to give dating one more try. Does anyone really find the right one on these places? I have met some really cool people, but I have also met a lot of losers too. I am kind of picky on my country music. I have been a single parent for a long time. I figure I can fix anything if I have a book on the subject. I do have kids, but 2 of them are adults now....which makes me sad cuz that means I'm getting older! I am a bit on the heavy side, but am trying to lose the weight. That does not mean I'm a complete health freak. I can't stand them! LOL I say, if you want some chocolate, have some! LOL My mottos in life are: Everything happens for a reason....and....Something good always comes from something bad. I have been through a lot in my life and it has made me a stronger person for it. I don't use it as a "cop out" to get things or for a reason to not be a contribution to society. I'm also not a "do as I say, not as I do" person. If I'm not willing to do something, I don't expect anyone else to either.I have a great job that I absolutely love. I work rotational shift work, so that creates a problem with my personal life. If you are an impatient person, I am probably not the woman for you as I may not have every weekend off and I work most holidays. I am dedicated to my job and have goals that I am working towards. I have given up lots of time to be there for my co workers when they needed time off. Sometimes I'm called into work on short notice on my days off, or times I have worked a double shift. I don't mind, I knew what I was signing up for and I love the job. This is just a heads up for anyone that wants to get to know me.
