Hello, So, it's true that we are a fabric of traits, interests, preferences, and skills. I'd like to meet a woman whose own fabric complements mine, so clearly I'm fishing for complements while mixing metaphors. Me? I love the mythology of Hinduism, and the philosophy of Buddhism and Taoism. I like to cook and enjoy simple, healthy food (I'm mostly vegetarian - a flexitarian***I like to play games; cards, cribbage, and backgammon being my favorites. I like to listen to music (I have a lot!), sit and read, or work on projects around the house. I'd rather try to fix anything myself then call in the professionals, and there's very little I won't take on. However there is a remote possibility that once I take it apart it'll be a while before I put it back together. But that's rare, and really, is a working toilet all that important? I love to learn new things and watch documentaries and TED Talks. I'm not into TV too much although the Daily Show, Newsroom, and 30 Rock are must-sees and there are a number of shows I'll watch. I enjoy going to an occasional movie and prefer historical fiction and interesting dramatic flicks. I'm not much into car chases, and explosions. The Palm Theater is a favorite. I have a great community of friends. Wednesday night is boys' night. We gather at Sea Pines for golf (if there's enough light), dinner (usually mex), and head to the studio where we spend the next few hours laughing at ourselves as we channel our inner rock star, drink beer, play ping-pong, celebrate B-days. It's a great group. You? You like to hang out in the kitchen and cook together. You like to play board games and card games and witty word play (you may grow to find my frequent punning punishing). You're intelligent and imaginative and playful. You're fit and up for serious physical activity. You enjoy music and swaying or perhaps rhythmic movement (I hesitate to call it dancing). You like time to yourself and have strong friendships. You can be adventurous when opportunities present themselves (but you can draw the line because you don't want to get arrested again). You're curious about wonder and wonder about curiosity (often at the same time). You sometimes still act like a kid. So that's me in a nutshell. Of course there's so much more to me like my sporadic tics, asymmetrical mis-sized ears, and numerous body piercings, but we can cover that later. Thanks for reading and good luck to all of us.
