I think you can tell a lot about a person by the friends he or she keeps and I must say I have a great group of friends who mean the world to me. I value the friendships I have which also speaks to how much I value the relationships I make with people. I put a lot of stock into the people in my life and that includes anyone who I am going to get to know who would be a potential partner. My faith is also very important to me. I'm a Christian and I am proud to say that I have a relationship with God, which is different from me being "religious." If you know what I mean by that then I would definitely like to talk to you. That said, it is very important to me to date someone with the same faith. I'm not perfect by any means (nor will I ever be) so please don't mistake me having a strong faith to me being self-righteous. I'm far from that.What I'm looking for? Well, simple really. I am looking for someone who is a true gentleman, someone with integrity who knows how to treat a woman properly. Someone who I know my friends would love because he is a good guy and gets along with everyone (yes, the kind of guy I can take home to my parents). I'm not your typical OC woman so that said, I'm not materialistic by any means and I don't care about "status" but I do care that someone is in a good place in their life with their career and finances. I don't care how much money you have, what you do and what car you drive. And other than that, I like to laugh so a sense of humor is really important to me. I know that sounds so cliche and typical but I like to have fun and I want to date a guy who I can be comfortable around and be myself, someone who doesn't take himself so seriously but does know when it's appropriate to be serious. There is a time and a place for everything after all.Anyway I look forward to the many possibilities this site could bring. I have many friends who have had success on here but in those successful relationships the key has always been this---both parties put in the time and effort to get to know each other and they put the time into actually getting to know each other and they communicate well from the get go.
