Most people I meet would never peg me for a country girl. I have an incessant need to travel. Or at the very least taking a vacation every year. I've been to Fiji and New Zealand. (Yes, that's where LOTR was filmed.) It's amazing. Hiking, backpacking, rock climbing and kayaking(I have 2) are among my favorite things to get into. Weather permitting. I keep telling myself I'll learn to ski someday but I'm so clutsy I haven't gotten up the nerve yet.

The biggest thing on me is my heart. It\'s been broken a few times and there\'s room in it for you. My perfect mate is attractive, well-groomed and physically fit. Education and money are a plus.

I work at an elementary school in Special Education. Kids are my passion and I absolutely love getting to spend every day helping mold little lives! I have played sports all my life... soccer, softball, basketball and cheerleading. But I am a softball player at heart! Since I can't play for real anymore, I play slow pitch for fun! I love to laugh and have fun and I am down to try just about anything once. I like all types of music, country, pop, rap... but I am currently more into country. I have a little brother who is 15 and he is my favorite person in the whole world. I have an adorable niece and sweet nephew and I absolutely love being an aunt! I absolutely HATE tuna, disgusting! I LOVE thunder storms and the smell of rain. Mean people suck. I have very few good female friends because most girls are too much drama! A first date should include something where you can get to know each other. Dinner is always good but if you add something fun like bowling, mini golf, a baseball game, etc... you can't go wrong! :)

I'm an outdoorsy gal, always up for adventure. Travel is incredibly important to me. My work takes me all over the world sometimes into drastically impoverished and hostile areas. Although it can get rough, I can have a great day anywhere under any conditions. I love immersing myself in other cultures, accessing the humanity and history of people whom I would otherwise never have known. I love people and I have a knack for making them comfortable and getting them to laugh. I've worked in the ER, the homeless shelter and volunteered on patrol with the Police dept. My specialty is trauma response but for now I'm taking a much needed break and traveling in Europe for a few months. While traveling I'm visiting friends I've made over the years. I'm very outgoing and when I am lucky enough to come across amazing people I keep them close. My parents and my friends are of the highest caliber and I'm incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in my life.I have a friendly (sometimes dirty) sense of humor. I love watching stand up comedy (Louis CK is my hero). I take things lightly and I'm quick to make a friend. I tend to be the person people come to when they're hurting or don't know what to do, though I've only recently learned how to return the honor.
