First of all, please, please; if you have nothing substantial to say, don't email me. I'm extremely social and outgoing. I like to go out with my friends for dinner and/or dancing. Most nights, though, you can find me working on some art project in my studio. I love kids and I've been a K-12 substitute teacher for the last two years and an art instructor at summer camp for the last four years. I just got hired on as a Teacher's Aide this year and so far it's super awesome! As far a spirituality goes, I think I would identify as an "authentic" Christian. My relationship with God is much more than just "religion" and it's very important to me. I'm an open book in that area, but I'm not going to shove my beliefs down anyone's throat, either. I'm the kind of person who will give you and honest opinion on what I think about something. (If you're passive-agressive or non-confrontational, I might not be a great match for you.) I'm a feeler and not a thinker. I'm a verbal processor, so I like to talk about what I think and feel, but I do also like to listen and learn about people. I'm looking for someone who I can just enjoy being around. I love getting to know people and I would like to be around people who are invested in getting to know me. I want someone who is in love with God. I have a pretty dry, sarcastic sense of humor, so I think that would be an important quality to share with someone. I like to joke around a lot, but I also like to have depth to my conversations. I love to get out and about whether in the city or country. I love to go on adventures and climb trees and creek-walk. I love to ride my bike! I would love to be able to ride bikes with someone. I'm pretty much up for anything outdoors. I like to get dirty (literally, not figuratively). I love to play volleyball on the beach (I stay away from indoor courts because I get too competitive) or frisbee. I'm terrible at frisbee golf, so don't ask. ; I've never been kayaking, but it looks really fun. I'm just learning guitar, so maybe if you're lucky I'll play it for you. Even though I don't mind a little mud on my shoes after a walkabout, I do have a very strong girly side. I like to put on makeup and heels and go out to dinner too. I am not above playing damsel in distress. ;)Oh and if you're wondering why my hair is red in some of my pictures, I was a redhead for about 11 years. I went back to my natural dark brown a couple of months ago.It seems after some expericence on this site I really need to put out this disclaimer: 1. I'm interested in being friends first. 2. I am a very spontaneous person. I enjoy being playful and can be sarcastic at times.On my spare time you can find me by a fire, or in the garage with friends relaxing.
