Someone asked me if I was a "Glass half full or half empty" kind of guy. I think it's a silly question. It's a glass. It doesn't matter how full it is, it matters what you do with it. Are you going to spend your life trying to fill it up (which is just more of what you already have) or are you going to take a sip, savor it, and relax? I guess it's time to change my profile a bit. I've been on here for a while and not found "her" yet. Not that I am really looking hard, but I am always open to something changing in my life. So what about my life? Well, I have had a real adventure so far. My bucket list is just about done. The only real thing left is Astronaut and I probably won't get that one. I have already been a policeman, fireman, cowboy, pilot, sailor, diver, and solider. I have saved lives, delivered babies, sailed around the world, been on almost every continent (still have to hit Antarctica) and raised a few great kids (not mine, they were part of a package deal). I have played on stage, designed and built a disco, and had "adventures" in Iraq. I have jumped out of airplanes and fast roped out of helicopters. I ride my motorcycle and sail my little yacht. But there is something missing. Someone to do some (or all?) of it with. Or at least someone to talk to about it when I come home. Someone to tell me about her life and dreams and bucket list. Someone to spoil. I think I am a normal guy but my friends tell me I'm not. I've never been a 9-5, suit and tie kind of guy. I am an absolute romantic and I love to go out with my lady, but I also like to close the blinds, turn off the phones, light a fire, open a bottle and (fill in the blank). I may not be what you think you are looking for, but just think about it. Have you ever been out looking for a dress or shoes and thought you knew what you wanted, only to find that "perfect" one in a window that you hadn't thought of before? That's me. By the way, you must have a passport, but not right away. Travel is in my blood. I think nothing of flying around the world for a long weekend (I flew to Asia on the 4th of July weekend for no reason). I have a big house in Port Angeles but at the moment I am living in Bremerton on a big ship. No, I'n not in the Navy (but I work for them). I'm a quick ferry boat away from Seattle or Oak Harbor or wherever you may be. So, about that half-full thing, shall we make it coffee or wine..sms only to ***...hope to chat soon
