I have a Bachelors in Education. I live in Melbourne and I work as a Bus Driver. My hobbies include but are not limited to reading history, listening to historical documentaries, cooking food of different cuisines, walking, spending time with friends and lots more. I am very loving, kind, mischievous, have a very good sense of humor, dependable, very loyal ......... dear me! I think it is best if the gentleman finds out the rest of my charming personality for himself.
I am seeking a husband, not a date. I have been divorced for several years and I have a 17 year old daughter who does not live with me. People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. Therefore, my focus is completely on meeting a gentleman who wishes to have a family life with me.
A gentleman who is kind, understanding, quite intellectual, has a love and fascination for history, is comfortable in his own skin, would just about fit the bill for me. A gentleman, who like me, is divorced, has endured everything that life has thrown and yet still smiles with simple joy when he sees a rainbow in the sky. A gentleman who smiles a lot, who laughs a lot, who is more than willing to open his heart to the joy of family life with me. Like me, the gentleman would have and should have come to terms with his past and is ready to move on with a totally open and welcoming heart into matrimony with me.
While I understand that religion is of some or even great importance to some gentlemen, I personally am not religious. As far as I am concerned, so long as I am an honorable, decent, respectable and honest woman, that should be enough. Given that I work as a bus driver, I get to experience the whole spectrum of human behavior, characteristics, etc., that we humans are capable of.
I have lived for 13 years in regional Queensland, far, far away from any metropolitan city. That kind of lifestyle has a way of grounding you to the actual things that really matter in life, like loving your family and friends, enjoying delicious tomatoes that I myself would have grown from seed. Now, after my divorce, I am living in beautiful metropolitan Melbourne, Australia.
My family resides in Calcutta, all over India and are also strewn about like confetti all over the globe. We are all a good bunch and very welcoming of people from all walks of life, values, religion, language and culture. In other words we are very liberal minded Bengalis who have Punjabis, South Indian, African Americans, Caucasians in our family who have married into. Quite mind boggling that!
