I had this at the bottom of my profile but I don't think of a lot of guys actually read all the way to the end, so here it is, at the top...I hate to be superficial, but as a tall woman if you're not at least 5'11" we probably won't be anything more than friends, and I generally don't converse with anybody that doesn't have a photo...sorry!About me: I like to travel, garden, watch live bands, eat out (especially on a patio somewhere), sing, read, shop, take road trips to nowhere in particular to explore little towns and stop in all the local dive bars, or hit up a local festival. My friends would say I'm optimistic, generous, dependable and outgoing.My mantra: Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it. (Chinese Proverb) I've always said my next move will involve palm trees...I love the tropics! But I'd settle for a lake cabin...working on it. Road trips with the top down.My cats. They're my my babies.Massage. aaahhhh.Spending time outdoors, especially on/near water.Travel. I have the bug.KTIS If you have a bike, I have the coat, chaps and dew rag...can't drive, but love to ride on the back. I'd like someone who can let go of work and enjoy spending time relaxing on a patio, out to dinner, or on the beach...maybe take in a show or find a bar with a live band, or do a little shopping. I'd love to find a gentleman that knows how to treat a lady, goes to church, likes to dance, loves life and knows how to have fun, but at the same time enjoys eating healthy food, taking care of himself and appreciates how much God has given him! ;) A good first date is an early dinner at a fun restaurant...giving us time to get to know each other in a casual setting. Maybe a sporting event of some kind...Twins, Wild etc.

I am on this site because I thought it would be a good way to meet new people, make some new friends, and possibly/hopefully meet the guy that will be the Tommy to my Gina. (don't know what that means? just ask :-)I've put quite a bit of time into being a caregiver and am ready for someone to pull me back into the mainstream. I enjoy movies, amusement parks, zoos, car shows/events, walks, drinks and a (bad) game of pool, and pretty much anything in the right company.As far as age goes, it's just a number. I'm young-at-heart, so it's okay to be silly now and then; we all get older, but do we ever have to completely grow up? I'm not saying I don't have a serious side, I definitely do. I just find it important to be able to relax and have fun when the occasion calls for it. Humor is big on my list…you get points if you can make me laugh :-) Speaking of laughing, what is it with all the photos of guys and fish? So you caught one (or two). Been there, done that, and seen so many pics of fish on this site that I feel like the smell is starting to rub off. No offense, I just don't get it (confused look).Anyway, I'm not the best at describing myself, but if I have piqued your interest and you would like to know more, send an *** Members with photos only please...you've seen mine, it's only fair that I see yours... In the past, I used to work a lot, I own a business and it consumed me. I recently made a decision to downsize. I needed more free time for exercise, and to eat right. The advantage of owning my own business however, allows me to travel, and pick up and go, when I ever want. I love to travel, but I have a special place in my heart for Colombia. I have been to Colombia many times, and currently I am working on a project in Putumayo, a region in the rain forest. I like to be outside in the summer, all summer long. I don't like the snow at all, lol! I walk a lot in the summer. I live close to the beach so walking is a pleasure for me. I have a goal to lose some more weight yet this year. Walking is the best way for me to do it. I have my kids around a lot and they are in their 20's. You would think they would drive me crazy, but they actually keep me company. They help me from being lonely. I still like some of the music they listen to and I still listen to the old rock and roll and Metallica. Yea, I was a metal head, LOL! I would like a man to suprise me with a well planned romantic night out. Even if it don't cost much. Just put a lot of thought into it. Flowers, a walk at sunset, maybe a movie?
