I had this at the bottom of my profile but I don't think of a lot of guys actually read all the way to the end, so here it is, at the top...I hate to be superficial, but as a tall woman if you're not at least 5'11" we probably won't be anything more than friends, and I generally don't converse with anybody that doesn't have a photo...sorry!About me: I like to travel, garden, watch live bands, eat out (especially on a patio somewhere), sing, read, shop, take road trips to nowhere in particular to explore little towns and stop in all the local dive bars, or hit up a local festival. I have the bug.KTIS If you have a bike, I have the coat, chaps and dew rag...can't drive, but love to ride on the back. I'd like someone who can let go of work and enjoy spending time relaxing on a patio, out to dinner, or on the beach...maybe take in a show or find a bar with a live band, or do a little shopping. I'd love to find a gentleman that knows how to treat a lady, goes to church, likes to dance, loves life and knows how to have fun, but at the same time enjoys eating healthy food, taking care of himself and appreciates how much God has given him! ;) A good first date is an early dinner at a fun restaurant...giving us time to get to know each other in a casual setting. Maybe a sporting event of some kind...Twins, Wild etc.

Hello,I have 2 kids... one is 17 and pretty much does her own thing, and I have a 12 yo son who still enjoys hanging out with mom every once in a while. I like going local and state parks, hiking the trails, fishing, and doing volunteer work.I've been a runner for over 30 years, I weight train, and I like to geocache, ...which is part exploring in nature and part techy ....I also play a couple of *** try to eat healthy and as organic as possible. Being healthy is important to me. Trying to withstand the effects of aging for as long as possible. It seems that every time I run into someone from high school, they always recognize me...and I never recognize them. So maybe it's because I haven't grown older looking since then, or it's because I never grew up, lol.I tend to be pretty opinionated on certain issues that are important to me, but am more than willing to listen to other viewpoints. I consider myself a person who sticks up for others almost to a fault. I guess the hardest part of dating for me is that I'm an extremely nice and honest person. I keep expecting and I know there's got to be a man out there that is just as honest and nice as I am...that is kind to others, optimistic and fun. I don't treat people who are currently in my life based on how I've been treated in the past. It seems that there are too many people out there that are extremely guarded by what they have experienced. For me, every day is a fresh start. I am very "low maintenance" and down to earth type of woman. I'm not into shopping in stores or buying tons of clothes...there are better ways I like to spend money. I'm financially prudent and stable...not looking for some guy to support me. But, I also don't need a financial leech as well...that's what my kids are for, lol. I have a great sense of humor and use it to help in difficult times by making light of just about any situation. I would like to meet guys who are active, have a great sense of humor, are honest, enjoy life, and are optimistic. Finally, I am looking for someone to have a relationship with. I am not looking for a FWB or a one night stand...so, if that is your intention, please move on. Don't waste my time or yours. Thank you....so, I'm keeping my profile up for now, but might be looking elsewhere for my new best friend. Due to the uncertainty of the future, I'm still looking to meet new people, but not looking to get into a LTR until I've "settled down".
