About Me

In the past, I used to work a lot, I own a business and it consumed me. I recently made a decision to downsize. I needed more free time for exercise, and to eat right. The advantage of owning my own business however, allows me to travel, and pick up and go, when I ever want. I love to travel, but I have a special place in my heart for Colombia. I have been to Colombia many times, and currently I am working on a project in Putumayo, a region in the rain forest. I am self confident and outspoken, some say I can be very controlling,( it is in my nature). I would love to find a strong, masculine man who likes to be in control, so I can take the day off. When I go out, I have ***glasses of wine, listen to music, enjoy the theatre, and try to eat healthy. I have two bikes, a road bike and mountain bike and love to go on rides. I am not up for competition, but I usually go over ***I am into computers and technology, I have every gadget there is and like to stay up with the latest technology. I own a smart TV, and watch Documentaries, and occasionally a good movie. I recently watched "The Perfect Human Diet". I don't subscribe to cable, I can watch pretty much anything I want online. I am a compassionate, strong, attractive, outgoing, and successful person. I enjoy exercise, travel, a good bottle of wine, listening to all types of music, cooking, dancing, bike riding.

    Love to be outside. In the winter cross country skiing and snow shoeing and in the summer, biking and kayaking the rivers. I like to golf, but I am more Caddy shack than LPGA. Luckily, I don't have to be good at something to enjoy it! Disc golfing is more my speed.I enjoy craft beer. Even signed up for a class to learn how to brew my own. You can live on beer alone for 40 days, that's why monks brewed it. You never know when you might get snowed in at the monastery, right? I am on Team Finnegans, helping to sell beer for charity. Best idea ever ;)Two crazy dogs and a mean cat (she is free for the asking, just make sure you are brave) live with me. I like to take them for walks in the nearby nature center. Time in the woods is good for the soul. I volunteer at my local animal shelter, mostly helping raise funds for its operation. It is a beautiful no kill shelter and I am proud to help, if even a small way. Athough I eat "clean"' I will eat pretty much anything when I go out. Recently found out cheese is not good for you. Dang.I consider myself pretty high energy and low maintenance. I grew up on a farm and still have that common sense down to earth mentality. I think that I am pretty good at sorting what is important. My family and my Faith are at the top of the list. A guy who is willing to do the planning impresses me. I think it would give me insight to his personality. Best date is something we both enjoy as common interests are the best foundation for any relationship.
