About Me

I do have some grief and loss issues, and I'm looking for someone who can really understand me. And of course I would want to understand you too, and always be there for you. However, I believe that both people in a relationship need to retain some of their own personal friends and interests. BTW - have you ever heard the expression: "Joy shared is joy doubled; Misery shared is misery halved"?I need to be with a somewhat emotional guy, who is not "self absorbed". I have had many guys "in love" with me, but their selfishness precluded them from considering my own personal happiness. Will you talk to me about anything and everything - but without being a narcissist? I believe for a relationship to work, each person must put the other person's best interests first - doing things for the other just to see the joy on their face.However, although all of these qualities would make me care for you deeply as a friend - romance is another issue, isn't it? I am attracted to young looking guys with very little body hair, except on their HEADS! Please forgive me - this seems so shallow - but I cannot be attracted to a bald or balding man - OR to black/African American men - Sorry!! As for me: I am 5'7', about ***lbs, and have long light brown hair, with some gray in it. It would be nice to meet someone with approximately the same amount of money / assets as I have, but that is not the most important thing.And BTW, if you're into casual flings, don't bother replying - I'm not interested in that type of person.     I am pretty much an empty nester and am finding myself with a little more free time now. I raised three girls pretty much on my own. A few things I enjoy doing are bicycling, working out, working in the yard, cooking/baking (I need a little work on the grilling), going to my daughter’s soccer games, sporting events, country festivals, and going out to hear a good band. I enjoy all kinds of music and like to dance. I enjoy going out and having a good time, but don’t get me wrong I enjoy a nice evening just sitting home snuggling and watching a good movie.What I want in a relationship is honesty, communication, to laugh and just have fun.
