I am a 46 year old woman grateful for my 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren, with one more due in April ***. They teach me things about life and what's important everyday. I am looking for someone that is equally family oriented and likes to travel for day trips or vacations, together or in big family groups. I work in a hospital emergency dept. 2nd shift ***p so meeting someone with a similar shift or accepting of my shift is important as I don't see my work schedule changing anytime soon. I do have about 7 weeks vacation time a year so with monthly planning I have lots of time off. My friends and family would describe me as dependable, caring, selfless, sweet and loyal. I live pretty simple opting to do things like taking walks or hanging with family for say, a barbecue. Other than that anything goes. I like to go just abut anywhere with good company of course. As for music, I listen to most anything, most recently country music. Went to Jam in the Valley for the first time this year and had a blast. I am looking for someone that is kind, attentive and trustworthy as that is what I am willing to give. Hopefully for a long term relationship. A first date could be many things. As simple as a cup of coffee and warm conversation, a walk down by the river ending with a simple ice cream cone, or anything within reason.

I love exploring the outdoors - camping, hiking, skiing, cycling, running, being at, on or near the lake, road trips, barbecuing and being out with friends. I learned to ski in dry powdery snow with clean air and wide-open country and somehow took all of that for granted. I also enjoy my new perennial garden and am working on being a better cook. I feel blessed to have the friends that I do and my life has been enriched by them. My best friend would say that I am sassy, have spunk and courage to try things "outside the box". I enjoy seeing new places, trying new things and don't hesitate being out of my comfort zone in order to gain new experiences.I have been single for 12 years since divorce, and can finally say that after much research (first dates and a couple longer-term relationships), I have much more clarity about what I want. I also know and can say with some confidence that I make a good partner (a couple of trial runs and a great counselor does wonders). I am ready to share the rest of my life with the man who is hopefully in that same place in life. He is one who will enjoy the debrief with me at night, and will be my best friend and lover. The emotionally available someone who comes to the table ready to be a partner -that is the key piece.My lovely daughters are now grown, and while I miss the little girl sweetness in them, I like that they are older and can relate to me as adults. I have 2 best friends in them. That said, I am not looking to replay those years of my life and would prefer a mate with children who are older, if not grown as well. And if that's the case then we'll have more in common, right? No particular preference.....maybe coffee or a glass of wine.
