Looking for: man. In age: 47-57
I\'m competitive and overachieve on most everything I do. I would rather know that I tried than not trying at all. Looking for a life partner, who can make our relationships diverse and not boring.

To all the men that have written me. There is a wonderful man that has shown a lot of interest in me and I can only dedicate my time to one man. Good luck to all of you!Hmmm. Ok I like to shop, find bargains and sell them on e-bay. I love fashion and try to dress with the times but it's getting a little harder as I get older. I keep asking myself if it's time to cut my hair short, or when I look in my closet I wonder if I need to dress differently because I'm getting older. Mentally I feel young, This age is real confusing to me. I don't know if I should be young or old? LOL. Don't worry I'm not losing my mind because of menopause. I just asked my daughter if I should really put the year I was born lmao. I will tell you more when you take me to dinner. Hope to hear from you soon. One more thing I should let you know. I don't like the cold. I just needed to put that out there for all of you that are into all the winter sports. It's great if you love to do it but I just wanted you to know that I won't be joining you. I wrote the first half of this profile about 8 months ago and now I would like to add to it. After over a decade of being divorced I am ready to find a good man to spend the rest of my life with. It's time for me again. Don't get me wrong though I like being close to where my children live but I have no qualms about being away some of the time. I now have grandchildren that I adore and cannot get enough of. I have dated on and off and actually had a great relationship with a man for a few years and I thought that we would be together forever and so did my kids but cancer hit him hard and we lost our friend a while back and miss him dearly. Knowing him well, I know that he wants me to find someone that can make me laugh. That is my number one turn on by the way. A sense of humor. There's nothing more attractive then a man with a great smile, great laugh, and OH YEA, a great women by his side. I hope I don't have to continue this again in another 8 months. Please don't write me if you don't have a picture. It's not because it's all about looks it's just a little creepy. Hope to hear from you soon, Carol I would like to go to dinner at a restaurant of the man's choice. I want to see what he likes. I'm up to just taking a walk (if it's nice out) or just about anything except a movie. I think that would be a little awkward because you can't talk.

I love exploring the outdoors - camping, hiking, skiing, cycling, running, being at, on or near the lake, road trips, barbecuing and being out with friends. I learned to ski in dry powdery snow with clean air and wide-open country and somehow took all of that for granted. I also enjoy my new perennial garden and am working on being a better cook. I feel blessed to have the friends that I do and my life has been enriched by them. My best friend would say that I am sassy, have spunk and courage to try things "outside the box". I enjoy seeing new places, trying new things and don't hesitate being out of my comfort zone in order to gain new experiences.I have been single for 12 years since divorce, and can finally say that after much research (first dates and a couple longer-term relationships), I have much more clarity about what I want. I also know and can say with some confidence that I make a good partner (a couple of trial runs and a great counselor does wonders). I am ready to share the rest of my life with the man who is hopefully in that same place in life. He is one who will enjoy the debrief with me at night, and will be my best friend and lover. The emotionally available someone who comes to the table ready to be a partner -that is the key piece. My lovely daughters are now grown, and while I miss the little girl sweetness in them, I like that they are older and can relate to me as adults. I have 2 best friends in them. That said, I am not looking to replay those years of my life and would prefer a mate with children who are older, if not grown as well. And if that's the case then we'll have more in common, right? No particular preference.....maybe coffee or a glass of wine.
