I am a well rounded woman who has lots of goals in life. I work hard in my profession, but take time to enjoy life along the way. Love to exercise and enjoy working up a sweat whether its jogging, walking my dog, taking a class, or spinning. I enjoy a good glass of wine with friends, traveling in the US and world, and trying new things given a little push. I am a very affectionate person who enjoys that in return. My hopes are to find someone to share all the great things in life. A great date involves good conversation over dinner or at a wine bar. I like to really get to know someone first and foremost!! I am very laid back,easy to talk to, happy, and appreciate everything I have in my life. My kids are my life. I enjoy the outdoors but like to also cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. I believe everthing happens for a reason so accept it, learn from it and move on no matter if its good or bad. I dont judge nobody because you dont know what they have been through until you walk in their shoes, everyone has a past. With that said, I do not want or need drama in my life. I want to meet a guy who is honest easy going and fun.. I am a very honest and expect the same in return. I do somewhat have a very sarcastic sense of humor. I am a woman with a VERY colorful past- no baggage no drama no kids never married; I just lived very fast for far too long (that's all history now). I am currently working hard for the U.S. Army living life to its fullest . I enjoy anything outdoors as long as you know what to do with me indoors. I also enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and love varieties of ethnic food. I workout five or more times a week (Army mandated) and therefore, would prefer a man who can keep up with me in any regard. Someone that can make me laugh as much as I make him laugh (or as much as he laughs at me); That being said he must also appreciate a good shenanigan or two. Musical interests include hard and heavy rock old/classic rock and VERY old school R&B/Jazz. I am not looking for a man to take care of or to take care of me- just someone to appreciate the simple things in life with and possibly come home to- If it finds its way long term that's great and if not- no worries. I am currently in the upstate NY area;; Do not fret- I will also be home for three weeks during Christmas. Good things are worth waiting for and they DO come to those who wait or go out and get them. I went out and earned all of my 'good things" did you? My friends describe me as fiercely loyal and inappropriately funny. My mind does roll around in the gutter.... ALOT and I must constantly sensor myself at work. I aspire to become better than what I have become each and every day. Although I am content and plainly happy with life in general I am not oblivious to the fact that there may be something missing and perhaps something better out there. I am the kind of woman who HATES makeup but wears it when appropriate; loves Friday night outings with friends, Beach day Saturdays and, long lazy Sundays wrapped up in bed w/him and a case of DosEquis. Throughout the week my job in the military takes up most of my time. I am NOT interested in men who.... play videogames/owns an xbox or playstation, are not career and goal oriented, lack intellectual capability, enjoy rap and refer to it as music, use terms such as 'booboo' 'dawg' 'cut' 'da' 'bro' 'twerk' The first date can be anything that allows two people to communicate and get to know one another as well as have FUN- dinner or coffe and drinks are nice however a strip mall carnival or fishing excursion suits me just fine too. Maybe a brief meet at a bar for drinks and conversation and if either of us is not itching to get away from the other follow up with dinner and/or some live-band swing dancing.

I enjoy horseback riding, hiking, gardening, camping, fishing, reading, and a litany of other things that need not be mentioned here. I'm intelligent and speak my mind. I am willing to try anything at least once. I enjoy doing anything that allows me to be outdoors. I'm down to earth and equine crazy. I love to work hard and play harder. I am incredibly sarcastic and often don't engage the brain - to - mouth filter. I enjoy hanging out with people who aren't afraid of getting dirty, and don't have a problem laughing at themselves because I like to laugh at myself at every possible opportunity. I am not going to lie, I am a single mom with kids at home. I work full time, go to school full time, and support my family on my own. First and foremost, I have a low tolerance for childish drama and head games. Otherwise, I enjoy canoeing, hiking, drumming, dancing, and even the occasional karaoke night (but I warn you, I can't sing!) I don't do karaoke to sound the best, I do it because I have severe stage fright, and I just don't accept that. I do it to confront my fears and challenge myself. I have one dog, an Alaskan Husky, and one solid white cat what is half persian. I am allergic to stupidity, but instead of a rash, I break out in sarcasm. I enjoy intelligent conversation and someone who gets my dry wit. Sometimes my filter gets broken and I say what's on my mind, but I do have tact when needed and appropriate. I don't get out much,, but I do on occasion like to go out and blow off some steam. I appreciate someone who is stable, and can support himself. I also appreciate an open mind, and someone who does not talk down to those who may believe differently than them. I am not here to "hook up" so if that's what you're looking for then don't even bother. I want a friend first and foremost and after that who can predict. Not a date, just hanging out and having fun. I'd love to do something spontaneous and outdoors.
