I am a mom of four daughters and am currently in school working on getting my degree. Looking to get out more and meet some friendly people. I am currently a cancer survivor at the moment but I am living my life in between checkups, which really sucks. I do not say this for any kind of sympathy, do not take it as such. I am so bad when it comes to boots/shoes and clothes...In my heart though I can't wait till summertime...it is my most favorite time of year. People smile more and seem to be in a lot better mood! and I just like that. Hi. Thanks for looking. I will be up front and honest right off the bat. I don't want to be someone's convenience or option. I want to be with someone who will make time for me, just like I will for them. I want someone that wants to be with me, spend time with me and do things with me, even if it's just sitting at home. I don't want to be the one who always calls or texts you first. When we meet in person, keep in mind that I'm not looking to be married tomorrow, and I am not interested in just hooking up or one night stands, so if that's what you are looking for, keep searching. I want to be able to see if we can click as friends, and see what happens from there. I am easy going and love to laugh and joke around. I can be sarcastic, but it's all in fun. I'm a people person and get along with just about everyone I meet. I adapt well to my environment and handle myself well in a variety of situations. I like being inside or outside, prefer summer and fall over winter (I don't like being cold!) I like being at home being a "bum" but I also like getting dressed up and going out. I think you have to have a nice balance between the 2. You can't stay home all the time, but I don't want to be out at bars or whatever all the time either. I don't mind getting my hands dirty, and be a tomboy, but I also like to dress up and be a lady.I'm honest and have been told I am a kind, patient, giving, and caring person. I like helping people when I can. I treat other people the way I want to be treated. I like all kinds of music but usually listen to classic rock and country. I like a wide variety of tv and movies. I've been told I'm a good cook. I'm more of a night owl than a morning person. I've been told I'm a "damn good woman" with a "heart of gold", and I am faithful and loyal to my friends and to my special someone. I love animals, dogs especially :)When I'm in a relationship, I'm affectionate and love to give and receive affection. Things like holding hands while walking together, or sitting on the couch watching a movie and my head on your chest or shoulder. I also like to do little things for that special someone I'm with.... writing little notes or texts to say I'm thinking of you... little gifts on occassion (like a toothbrush or pencil with your favorite team logo on it)... things like that. I also believe that it's not what you're doing, but who you are with that makes things fun. You can have a great time doing anything or nothing at all if you're with the right person!I'm not a plaything, and I wont be someone's woman on a string. I have 3 older kids (ages 26, 20 and 15. The 15 year old and 20 year old are with me sometimes) I have a good life. I don't demand respect, I command it, and I don't think it's too much to ask that I be treated with respect, honesty, and like a lady. Please have table manners. Whether its a meal at home, a burger at McDonalds, or a fancy restaurant. If you make more of a mess at the dinner table than a 1 year old, chew with your mouth open, and make all kinds of noises while you eat... it's just not going to work for me. Yuck. I drink occassionally, I swear, and I smoke (some days more than others). I do not do any sort of drugs. I don't think I'm better than anyone else, and I'm not a judgemental person. I don't care what kind of job you have, or what kind of car you drive, and I don't care if you live in a mansion or a beat up cardboard box. Money doesn't matter when it comes to being happy with someone! I'm not looking for a sugar daddy or someone to rush in and pay my bills or take me out all the time. I believe a relationship should be be ***, and there sometimes has to be compromises made. I'm former USMC, have a couple tats, and I do not tolerate liars, or people who do not follow through with what they say. Once you break honesty and trust, it takes a long time to get it back with me. I believe that If you're going to talk the talk, you better be able to walk the walk! I'm a firm believer in "A man's only as good as his word" and "Karma's a bi***, and she has puppies". If you're only going to message me to tell me I have a "nice rack" or ask "what's your bra size", or to tell me that you "have a big one"... then DONT. (Its amazing to me that you would message someone saying that, and then wonder why you're single??) Thank you :) Surprise me with anything that doesn't involve bunge jumping or parachuting :) I don't think a movie makes a good first date because you can't see each other, or talk to each other. A first date should be one where you can talk and focus on each other to see if there's a click between you. I also think a first date shouldn't be all fancy dressy uppy. It should be more laid back casual where both people can be more of their true selves. Everyone cleans up nice, but I want to see the real you, how you are on an "everyday basis". So wear your jeans and a Tshirt and a ball cap! Be comfortable and most of all be on time, and be you!!
