I'm just not everyone's cup of tea, but I guess that is OK since I am happy without having to have a man in my life. I just would like to have someone to do things with and talk to on a regular basis, but no, I won't lower my standards. Sorry. I am self employed which means I don't make money unless I am working - and I work a lot. My schedule varies and can change at a moment's notice. So, I don't have time to have a pen pal. In my experience, it is better to meet sooner and determine if there is any attraction at all, rather than wasting time developing a "relationship" via chat, *** - and then meet and find out 'WOW' that's not gonna work. Been there/done that. Writing takes up much of my free time, and I live a "writer's life" which means I don't have a lot of material things, but I have what I need. Pets are important to me, so if you have issues with a little pet hair on your Armani suit that's not gonna work. If you show up for a date in overalls, that's not gonna work either. Volunteering is also an important part of my life and I work with some national animal rescues, and I also mentor other writers and host a local writers' group. If you have a life beyond your ***job that helps make the world a better place, you get extra points :) Initially, I tried to respond to everyone who sent an *** became much too time consuming, since apparently some did not read what were my non-negotiables and wrote anyhow. If I favorite you, I'm interested! Please write :) Non-Negotiables: Smoking -- I don't date smokers. Trying to quit is still a smoker Intelligence -- Can you carry a conversation past the weather? Great! Humor-- You must have a sense of humor, and know how to use it! Nascar -- if you live, breathe and eat Nascar ***GOOD is required. Enough said. If you take offense to my little personal rant/profile, I apologize, but please don't send me *** how wrong I am about what I have written. I would rather wait for the right one to make their way to my world, than try to fit the wrong one into those shoes. I should hope that your outlook on relationships would be the same. HA HA! I just realized meetville has me listed as a Capricorn - not. I'm an Aquarian --if that makes a difference! :) I'll let you decide :)

Started writing this but it ended up way too long. So I'm going to shorten it a little.I'm just me. Take me as I am. My Kids(3), Grandkids(2), & my Friends are the most important.; proper. Oh I may get upset on a bad hair day or if I break a nail. But I get over it. I also change my clothes several times before I'm satisfied with the way I look. I'm a Beer & Whiskey over a Wine & Champagne kind of woman. My friends say I "Clean up good". haha. My favorites: Food- Mexican, Colors-Red & Purple, Season- Fall:Sweatshirts,bonfires,roasting marshmellows. Sports- Football, Hockey, & Baseball. Love the beach but prefer the mountains. But there's no place like home. I Love Chocolate, who doesn't! Sweet tea.Cooking. Good book, if there's time. Most Movies. What's better than sharing a bowl of popcorn & snuggling with someone you care about watching a good one. Most Animals, but love cats.I LOVE MUSIC. ALL of it,except rap. And have been known to listen to it every now & again.I Love singing karaoke with my friends. I've got them believing I'm good! haha. Love to Dance.Love going out to clubs for karaoke or dancing.But would be nice to have a partner every now & then.Well H#LL, this is still long. But if you're still with me, that's me in a nutshell. Like I said take me as I am. I'm trying this again & maybe find someone to dance with. I'm not look for a 1 night stand, boy toy, or a player. I'm a 1 man woman.
